When I throw logic out the window, then I enjoy the episode.
Truthfully, I found it bizarre how Asad would be so formal. It was part of his charm, but personally I didn't dig it. Your girlfriend does this amazing performance for you and you say "thank you" as if some pretty barista in starbucks handed you coffee.
The way Asad is now... complaining about girls and pulling pranks on Zoya (if you saw the SBS you know what I am talking about)...
I like more.
The kind of guys I like in real life and in shows tend to be like this. 😳Even though, it is OOC... I like it.
- Would I rather Asad became this gradually? Of course! But in my opinion if Asad can forgive Rashid so quickly, why can't he become more carefree just as fast.
- Again throwing logic out the window... seeing Zoya freak out about some random girl will be entertaining. Would I rather she be secure and lecture Humeira about the importance of trust in a relationship? Of course!
- Would I rather Zoya thinks back to staged Jannu SR and realize she has nothing to worry about? Of course!😡
- Does it bother me that Najma trusts Imraan more than Zoya trusts Asad? Only if I use my brain.😆
My point is enjoy Qubool Hai for what it is. What it is: Is a show with suspense, drama, comedy and romance with forgetful writers. Most of the time the suspense, drama, comedy and romance make it possible for people to look past the disjointed storytelling and other logic goofs. Other times (ex. ZoYaan) it is hard to overlook. I think throwing a bachelor party, Asad complaining etc are all things that can be enjoyed due to the drama, comedy and eventual romance it will lead to.
