Some day i october 2008 I came home from college and went to search some new interview of Salman on youtube. I however acccidentally clicked on this:

Wow that woman!!! THAT GUY!!! And the music sounded a little Indian. I loved it. I figured out that the woman is Haifa Wehbe and the guy is Ramy Ayach. Initially I started to search more music of Haifa Wehbe...it kept surprising me that arabic music is so much like Indian music:

Also I found Haifa so pretty. Even though my dad is half Arabic...he is more Indian...he doesn't speaks arabic and is a devout hindu. So even I didn't know a single word of Arabic. But I'm really good in learning to understand languages. I became a fan of Haifa and started to watch her interviews and slowly I learned a few words (good evening, good morning, hello, thank you, sweetheart, life) basically words that are used a lot. After a few months of Haifa I got bored and decided to see whether there are more singers. I discovered: Cyrine Abdel Nour, Ruby, Myriam Fares, Nancy Ajram, Sherine and Ramy Ayach. I loved listening to their songs. I also started to follow those SRGMP kind of arabic shows: Star Academy, Arab Idol, Superstar...basically shows where to search for new singers like SRGMP. I became a huge fan of Shahed Barmada:

Through these shows I learned that I was listening to z-grade arabic music...I mean Nancy, Haifa, Sherine it's all rubbish. None of those singers can really sing...there songs are meant for children. Then 16 year old Shahed Barmada however introduced me to classical arabic music: Oum Kalthoum, Fairouz, Abdel Halim Hafaz. Then I said goodbye to those plastic wannabe singers: Nancy and Haifa...who truly suck compared to the real singers. I started to learn arabic and discovered Khaleeji music and morrocan music, and persian music...😳
But my alltime favorite was still Shahed Barmada...so as a fan I had to see everything of her. Whenever there was a new song or interview I would be first to watch it. So one day I saw this:

THAT SONG!!! I searched the song and discovered the song is from someone named: Kadim Al Sahir...he is also in the video...meeh...i only liked shahed and from the male arab singers Ramy Ayach:
😳

😳
SO HOT!!! Loved his voice! What I didn't understand then is that Ramy Ayach belongs to the group of z-grade wannabe singers: Nancy, Haifa, Sherine, Elissa, Ramy, Tamer, Amr Diab it's all the same nonsense pop music 🤢
But one fine day in 2009 I heard this:

I wasn't even clicking on that for Kadim...I was clicking on it for that cute blonde host Nancy Maamary! Love how she always flirts with male singers 😳 MY INSPIRATION 😳 BUT THEN THAT SONG AND THAT VOICE!!!
I had to figure out more!

His music is so brilliant! such rich lyrics and so magical! He makes songs that are like 13 minutes long. If Nancy Ajram is a singer then Kadim Al Sahir is that woman's failed teacher. He is simply amazing 😳 In this course I will introduce you all daily to the brilliance of Kadim Al Sahir! What I love the most about him is that he is so shy and romantic. It's kind of odd seeing an Arab man being shy all the time. So cute!!!
