Neetu is not only partly to blame for the way Paakhi is but she is also partly to blame when it comes to the way Prem is as well. Neetu & her hubby spoilt him silly from the time he was a kid. It's no wonder why Paakhi considers Kamla her mother more than she considers Neetu her mom & why Prem is greed thirsty & has become an alcoholic. If Kalpi was the bahu of the Kapoor family, I can totally see her not only being a successful career woman but also being more of a queen bee (in a good way) & knocking Neetu off that high pedestal of hers. I feel there is quite a lack of positive attention when it comes to him. His parents' are not a good influence & in fact encourage him in his selfish decisions & Paakhi & him don't have a close relationship & she is the only non-evil person in the family besides the grandma. At least if Kalpi were his wife/girlfriend, Prem, she would be a positive influence on him & positive influence is what is lacking in his life. Do I like he guy? W/the way he has been portrayed so far- no but I can't see him staying this bad way. I'm predicting he will change at least partly due to Kalpi's influence.
