Deepika Padukone's loss could well be Sonam Kapoor's gain.

The former, who was offered Sooraj Barjatya's upcoming venture with Salman Khan, has reportedly opted out because the dates clashed with those that she has allotted to Imtiaz Ali film with ranbir kapoor.

Now we hear that Sonam is a very likely choice for Sooraj's film.

Neither Sooraj nor Sonam reverted to our text message till the time of going to press. The actress' spokesperson asked for time to revert.
