Chapter 17 : A major Off set ...
The day started like all other normal days with only one difference, all members of both families were gathered at Kapoor Mansion. As planned , we were gathered to leave for SWARG .. for a weekend trip. The elders were excited ... But the excitement of Natasha and Kartik were evident ... and at the same time , annoyance of Ram was notable.
My brother is not so bad Ram..' Priya whispered to Ram as she walked by him.. Ram made a puppy face and tried to answer but left with no choice other than to keep staring at the kids... At stipulated time they left for their destination... In total 5 cars left for the farm house..
While Priya wanted to accompany Ram , there he pushed Natasha and Kartick with them too... He forced Kartick to seat with him in the front seat , while Priya and Natasha were seated on the rear seat. Natasha's pale face was a clear indication that ; she is in trouble. To relax her priya snapped a sweet smile with her hands on her shoulder... Natasha smiled in her nervousness.
Ram starred continuous on Kartick and Natasha , the consequences of that , the car was moving at a speed of tortoise... Even a hand driven cart will over take us...' Priya showed her annoyance ...
Can't you see the traffic ?' Ram answered ...
can't you see that Natasha is sitting with me ...' Immediate answer came from Priya ...
Yeah but they can easily ...' Ram stopped and stared blankly at Kartick's pale face... He accelerated and stopped the car by one dhabha , out of busy city.. He jumped over kartick and held his neck in his fist. Though Priya know that Ram was only kidding with him , but Natasha screamed out of her panic..
BHAIII...' Natasha jumped from her seat to free Kartick from Ram's grip. Priya smiled seeing the trio in muscle fight. While Ram was ignorant about Natasha ,she tried to save her love.
Okay Okay Time up guys ..' Priya pulled Natasha back to her seat , Ram .. my brother is not so bad; that he will get this punishment for loving our sister ...' She added ...
Right Priya..' Ram cam back to his seat , I was just trying to tell him in what trouble he has pulled himself..' Ram giggled ...

Before Priya could reply , Kartick spoke for the first time ... , Please don't fight .. and when we have had halted in front of a dhaba can we have some food...' with a little pause and sigh he added , Please!'

While he was driving , Kartik looked around himself and trying to judge the people around himself by their expressions. He suddenly found , himself out from Ram's scrutiny. He was trying to look for Priya through the rear view mirror. He looked aside to see Natasha ; who was upset and angry at the same time. Rather he got confused when he tried to learn her expressions. Whilst , Priya remain un noticed.
After a while , Ram suddenly stopped the car with a dead brake. The ladies in the rear seat , trembled forward.. they settled back and Priya complained about the same to Ram... Without answering , Ram got out of the driving seat , Opening the rear door , he asked Natasha to get into the front passenger's seat ... while Kartik will drive he pronounced...
Natasha looked at Priya and smiled ... , Ya why not !!' Snapping an odd smile .. She walked away ...
Ram got into the rear sit , by Priya. She avoided him and looked to the mobing scenic beauty.
They are all the same ...' Ram whispered almost into his angry wife's ears... When Priya looked back , her lips were inches away from his . With a smile Ram , kissed her cheek sweetly..
Ram .. what the ...' Priya pushed Ram away from herself , and tried to look normal , to the juniors sitting in front.
Kids don't look here .. Let you two free .. So excuse Us too..." Ram announced...

The SUV was much spacious to accommodate Ram even if he continues his journey in horizontal position.. He lied down nesting his head on Priya's lap. She tried to push his head away from her lap , but Ram restricted her. Fisting her hand he kissed them. With the love touch Priya looked down to Ram , and found him smiling.. She melted in the moment .. Leaping closer to him she sweetly pecked on his forehead ...
"Is it really necessary that we are behaving like strict parents to the kids Ram .. Don't you trust my Brother Ram ? He is a decent boy grew with my values ... You can let Natasha comfortably with him .." Priya whispered , so that no one can hear her actually ..

As the Car stopped , Ram order the kids , to hop out of the car. Though Kartick obeyed , but Natasha sat like a stubborn kid freezing at her place... Ram asked her to come out constantly. Even when he asked her to do so , standing by the front passenger seat , she denied to follow his orders ...
Kartick tell your girl to come out or else..' Ram rounded his eyes to Natasha ... He was angry ... He had a faint smile , confusing Natasha he added , or else I will announce your marriage tomorrow in place of your betrothal...' With wide open arms , ram welcomed his sister...
With a blank stare of few minutes .
Natasha expressed , her excitement and happiness... Priya smiled while she came out of the car, She hugged Kartick , But you have to promise me , you will take care of Natasha very well ..' Looking at Ram she added , More well than her brother and my husband ... I want you to be the best husband to her...'
Oye bhool jaa , I will be the best husband ... !!' Ram almost jumped and snatched Priya and smiled ...
U r my Star husband ...' Priya pulled Ram's nose... they hugged ... Natasha and Kartick also hugged immediately taking the chance of the moment...
Chod!!!!' Ram scolded Kartick .. Frightened kid stood stunned when Ram added , Hug her like this ...' Ram hugged Priya tight in his embrace to demonstrate ... Kartick and Natasha Smiled...
The four people reached SWARG pretty late... Priya ran inside to meet the elders .. but she froze at her place seeing a very unknown face , who got pretty mixed up with her in laws and other people too...
Priya ...' Krishna Kapoor noticed her , where you all were? Everything is fine .. right beta?' HSe asked caringly.
Yes Maa ...' Priya managed an answer.. still trying to recall if she knows the guest ... When Ram entered with the other two , he smiled broad and welcomed the guest with a warm hug. Priya didn't liked the gesture , though, she smiled.
Priya this is Ayesha ...' Ram briefed before he concentrated back on her , How did you came to know about our visit ?' Ram asked with a smile ..
as if you don't know ?' With a soft smack on his shoulder , You have had invited me over here ...' She replied ... , And Priya it's very nice to meet you ...' The lady walked to Mrs.Kapoor .. Priya snapped at Ram , who made appolozing face to her.
Forcing a smile , she accepted the greeting hug from the lady ... She welcomed Ayesha to the place .. Let me check with the arrangements...' She tried t excuse herself from the crowd.
Priya ..' Ayesha held her back , Consider me as family ... I am very near to Ram , a close friend .. very close friend..' Ayesha leaned close to Priya , I know many secrets of your husband .. Ask me ..' Coming apart she winked at Ram. Priya felt little unwanted. She walked upstairs ...
Coming to her room, she sat on the bed. Startled and sudden anger engulfed her. Clutching the bed sheet, she tried to control the anger... but it couldn't erupt.. because , she knew that she has to talk about Natasha and Kartick to the families. After waiting a little more , she walked down stairs.. As she entered the hall , her eyes went to Ram and Ayesha , they were sitting aside. She wanted to know , why and how did Ayesha got entry to the family get together , but it can be waited but the decision that she and Ram had taken about the kids has to be approved ...
"dadi ... Kuch baat karni thi ..' Priya said making her space to seat for by dadi ...

Smiling , Priya looked at Dadi , Taking her hands on her's she asked , Dadi , can I ask Natasha for my Brother ? Is he that much lucky to be our Son-in-Law...?' With a smile she looked at Natasha and Kartick.
Oh My God !' Exclaimed Shikha ji , From when all these are happening ?' She asked the kids ... They turned red as they blushed... ...
Priya ?? were you aware of this..' her mother in law asked ..
"I knew it .. but just in recent past...' Priya kept her gaze fixed on the kids , as she spoke , But Maa , I can assure , Kartick will be a good husband to Natasha ...'

Maa , we have thought held their engagement ceremony here only, as we think this is the best place. They are lucky to be blessed by all the people present here ...' I have to make some plans , about the same.. will revert back to you guys .. soon..' Priya walked out of the room in hurry .. without wasting time , a jealous soul walked to garden in search of her husband .
Her eyes searched for Ram and Ayesha only ... She looked around and found them walking on the grass... aside... She opened her mouth to call Ram , but she refrained herself at the last moment ... and changing her mind , she walked to her room. Opening her laptop she searched for the best jeweler present in her contacts. After searching thoroughly she choose two from many , and called them to fix meetings with them in simultaneous hours .
Priya was walking back to the hall , she meet Ayesha . Priya tried to avoid her and walk away ... but she stopped as Ayesha spoke ... I and your husband used to have a past..' She smiled .. Before she could add more Priya intervened , I know ... And it's past I am his present and future ...and before you add more non sense ; I have lots of work to do. So sorry and excuse me please...'
You are ...' Ayesha paved her wave... Priya didn't looked back for another second , but something was wrong...
The same night ...
When priya came to her room , after dinner , she found Ram on the balcony. Without bothering him she walked to the washroom with her change. As the door got locked with a click sound , Ram looked back. He walked to the room , and found the door locked and priya's phone lying on the bed ... He fixed his gaze fixed at the washroom door ,locked from inside ... He had no other choice but to wait for Priya to come out ..
Almost after 10 minutes , priya came out in her night gown ... green color suits her the most . Ram stood up from the chair and just opened his mouth to speak ... But before him , priya spoke , without looking at him .. Papa wants to fix a date sooner , it depends on you ... Please talk with him accordingly ..'
Ok .. but ..' Ram wanted to speak but intervened ...
And I have arranged everything for tomorrow , the jewelers will come tomorrow morning I have called two person , we will chose one from the each .. be present there .. and about the decorations and food , I have made arrangements too .. Masi will come tomorrow morning .. she has not left the country yet .. she also had no problem ...' Though she was least interested about Ayesha , but when her husband was there , she couldn't resist herself from listening to them secretly ...

If priya wanted she could have confronted Ayesha then and there but she walked back to the room , expecting Ram to be there , but to her surprise he was not there... Priya didn't tried to find him out , but sat there fighting with herself ... She looked around , and found Ram's phone lying ideal on the table .. she couldn't stop herself from stalking ...
She knew the passkey to Ram's phone .. she quickly , without even thinking for once went through the call list of Ram , and found many conversation evidences among Ram and Ayesha .. there were many sms conversations too , but maximum of which were deleted manually , though the history of it remains as evidence , but the conversation were deleted. It made Priya more suspicious .. She decided to stalk into Ram's past to know what he was hiding from her ... Silently she walked away from the room ...
She was about to knock at Ayesha's room , she heard ram's voice inside .. She tried to hear , what he was talking to the lady , but she was not so lucky to hear the full conversation but she heard a lit bit of it and those phrases were enough to make her believe that Ram was hiding truth from her ...
I don't want to remember what I did .. but now I want to live Ayesha ... May there was something between us .. but now there is nothing.. I am sorry for what I did to you ...' These few phrases were audible in the silence of the night ... Priya froze there listening to her husband .. her eyes became teary ... she glued at her place . Her jammed brain didn't allowed her neither to listen nor to think ...
But she collected herself , and ran back to the room ...
Almost , after 10-15 mins when Ram came back to the room ,... he switched on the lights and was shocked to find Priya crying sitting at a corner of the bed .. he paced up to her .. but he was stopped by her in between ...

Realizing what he said , Ram tried to speak to her , but Priya behaved like an arrogant kid , she restricted and walked out of the room ... Ram thought to wait till Priya reverts back to her normal state again ... But next morning something more shocking happened ...
Next Morning ... When ram woke up , he found Priya packing her bags ... He tried to speak to her , but Priya completely neglected him ... As Priya walked out of the room, he followed her ... Ram found that Priya walked into Shikha ji s room , directly walking out from her room ..
priya... here you are .. come and arrange everything with us ..' Shikha said ..
darling .. I have to go back ..' priya declared ...

While ram thought Priya to lie, She drove back to Mumbai , direct to her office to attain the clients on urgent basis . She wanted to make Kartick's future secure , by getting the biggest deal of her life with the Japanese clients ...
