Just caught up with past 5 chapters.. Loved every update. KR's fight, cute romance and the problems.. Very interesting Sweety. Karthik was so busy in his work that he couldnt speak to Raji and he dint even ask her about her periyappa's preperation. Felt sad for Raji and she was right in not troubling Karthik.. Raji will feel lonely without Karthik. Hope she manages till his return. Everything should go well for Karthik too..

I am reminded of the Surya-Jyothika movie when I read about this trip :) Please cover both their feelings :) and the odd time calls :)

Chapter 63

SATURDAY:

It's 12.30 in the afternoon and Raji is reading some magazine in her
room. She has been busy since morning doing household work and
just got time to relax. She was reading something very interesting
and disturbing that her mobile rings...
Raji: helloo...
Karthik: hi ... en chellam enna pannudhu?
Raji: enna ? edho chinna kozhandhaiya kekkara maathiri kekkura?
Karthik: badhil sollu...
Raji: chumma thaan ... book padikkiren... nee adhukulle reach aayittiyaa?
Karthik: illa... on the way...
Raji: on the way ... nnaa... phone eppadi panre?
Karthik: naan Frankfurt airport la irukken... one hour waiting... connecting flight kaaga...
Raji: OK... jolly yaa irundhuchaa?
Karthik: ennadhu?
Raji: flight travel?
Karthik: illa... sema bore...

Karthik: serious aah Raji... I MISS YOU...

both of them smile and say "I LOVE YOU..." at the same time...
Karthik: OK... Raji... bye...
Raji: mmm... bye... reach aanadhum call pannu...
Karthik: Ok... bye...

Karthik boards the connecting flight at Frankfurt and lands in Berlin
Tegel airport around 10 a.m. local time there.




It took two hours for Karthik to complete immigration formalities and
collect his baggage and come out of the airport.


A person with a nameboard written "Mr. Karthikeyan" from INDIA was
standing there at the entrance, Karthik smiles and goes to him...
Karthik: Guten Tag...(hello in german...)
That person is surprised and (vaayellaam pallaagi...) shakes hand.
Karthik: Ich bin Karthik...(I'm Karthik)
Mr.X: Guten Morgen... wie geht's? (Good Morning ... how are you?)
Karthik: Danke, gut... wie heisen zee?( Fine, Thank you... What's
your name?)
Mr.X: Ich heisuu... Philip...(my name is Philip)
Karthik: nett.. sie kennen zu lernen...Philip(nice to meet you... Philip)
Philip: komm lass uns gehen (come let's go)

Philip takes Karthik to the car and drives to the hotel where he was
supposed to stay.





On the way Philip informs Karthik that he'll accompany him the entire trip. He also says that he feels happy that Karthik could speak German. Karthik gently smiles and says that as a kid he was so fascinated by the language that he went on to study, but he humbly requests him to correct him whenever he speaks wrong. Philip agrees. After an hour long journey Philip arrives at Louisa's Place.



Everything was arranged perfectly from the client's side and Karthik
was completely bowled over by the concern showered by them.
Philip gets a key from the reception , escorts Karthik to his room and
asks him to take rest and he'll come in the evening. Karthik thanks
him and Philip leaves.

Karthik takes a shower , orders and has lunch in the room itself. Since he couldn't sleep properly in the flight, and the whole process of the trip made him so tired, finishing lunch Karthik fells asleep.

BACK IN CHENNAI:

Raji waits for Karthik's call till late in the night, but no use... She then
consoles herself maybe he would 've slept being tired. The only thing
she was afraid of was her periappa's visit with the groom's family is
confirmed and she is searching for excuses to avoid that but only in
vain...
Thinking...waiting...thinking...waiting... Raji sleeps off holding her
mobile close anticipating may be Karthik will call her.

IN BERLIN:

Karthik wakes up as the door bell keeps ringing continuously. He opens the door and it's Philip. He gives way for him to come in. Philip asks him to get ready and waits for him.

Fifteen minutes later, Philip takes Karthik in his car for dinner. During
their convo, Karthik comes to know that Philip is a trainee at the client's place who has joined the job six months ago finishing
graduation. Both of them realise to have many common interests,
belonging to same age group, they start liking each other and enjoyed each other's company.

Philip stops the car in the parking area and Karthik is stunned to see
the spectacular structure in front of him.





Philip explains him that it is the most prestigious building in Berlin. It
is the Berlin's TV Tower (known to locals as Berlin's Fernsehturm) that was built as a separate Tv broadcasting system for East Berlin
was a necessity during the years of division and the fact that it was
built right in the middle of the city was Walter Ulbricht's original vision. It is 368m high and the tallest building and the highest publicly accessible building in Europe.

The structure consists of a large pavilion covered with white painted
roofs enclosing the actual tower, a cylindrical concrete shaft topped
by a steel-clad sphere and a large antenna.
Elevators at the base of the tower bring visitors to the large sphere,
where a viewing platform allows for a 360 degree view of Berlin from
a height of about 203 meters. Just above the platform, at a height of
207 meters, is the Telecaf, a revolving restaurant, which rotates once in every 30 minutes.

Karthik completely gets carried away looking at it. Philips tells him
that he'll now experience the best dinner ever. Arriving at the ground
floor, Philip shows the reservation ticket at a counter. A staff of the
TV Tower personally welcomes them and heads straight to the
elevators. The lift took them up to the sphere of the tower in just 40
seconds.

They entered the Restaurant and the staff took them to their reserved Table.

Karthik and Philip sit at the window side Table and Berlin looks so
astonishingly beautiful from that height...
Philip orders the main course dinner which comprised of a traditional
german cuisine. Philip kept on talking and talking, Karthik listened to
him patiently.

Once the food was served, Philip went to silent mode immersed in his dinner. The food tasted so good that Karthik thoroughly enjoyed it. Philip offered him wine and Karthik refuses. Philip smiles says cheers and drinks himself.

Karthik looked at his watch and it was around 9 p.m. He quickly
calculated the time in chennai which was around 1.30a.m. He felt bad as he knew Raji would have been waiting for his call.
Slowly a smile appears on his lips as Raji completely occupies his
thoughts and he realises how badly he is missing her.
