She calls his number and gets not reachable message. Then an idea flashes in her mind. She takes her laptop and starts mailing him.

Raji presses the send button and feels relaxed.
Her athai calls her and she goes to the living room. Her periappa has arrived.

He turns towards his sister and enquires..."malligaa... palagaaram enna senjirukke?"
Raji comes to her room and checks her mail for reply but nothing was there. She then goes to her cupboard, takes a simple sari and gets ready. In between she keeps checking her mail for reply. being busy in this way she forgot that she hasn't charged her mobile since yesterday and it gets switched off which she doesn't notice.
IN BERLIN:
Karthik wakes up from a good sleep and looks at his watch. It was 10 a.m . He orders the room service for a coffee and goes to the rest room. He finishes brushing and the coffee arrives. Finishing his coffee , he calls the reception and asks her to connect a call for which the receptionist replies that international calls cannot be transferred to rooms and he can come to the reception and make calls anywhere. He thanks her and puts the phone down. The door bell rings, and as he opens the door, a room service boy comes in with a trolly.
Karthik: what's this?
Waitor: Breakfast Sir...
Karthik: But I didn't order any...
Waitor: This is complimentary Sir... as a token of love, we serve traditional german breakfast for all the guests who ever stays in the night.
Karthik: wow... that's great...
The roomboy leaves, Karthik quickly has a shower, gets ready, has his breakfast and comes to the reception. He tries Raji's number but it's switched off. He tries again and again but of no use. The receptionist informs him that showing his passport at the travel desk, he can obtain a temporary phone card which he can insert in his mobile and use. He thanks her and goes to the travel desk and gets the card. As soon as the card gets activated, his mobile comes to life and a message appears onscreen.."you've got a mail"...
He sits on a couch there and opens his mail. He's surprised to see the sender's name...Raji... He opens the mail excitingly and it read:

How are you? Hope you have reached safely. Karthik is so touched and moved seeing how much she cared for him and even as she didn't mention anything about her, he could clearly feel what she has been going through and feels bad that he couldn't be with her to face this situation. He tries Raji's mobile again and it is still switched off.
He looks at the time and it was 12 noon... it would be 4.30 p.m therein chennai, he thinks and replies her.
