hey guys it felt really odd on hearing gulbadan begun ..uttering the word saat suhaagne ...coz as far i as i know ..the word Suhaagne is a hindu term ...did not know dat in muslim culture also it is followed ..i might be wrong though ...but felt a bit odd so created this post ...

. Agree I also found it strange. The word suhaagan sounds like Hindu word.

I think its not big thing. I am from pakistan and know urdu. I watched many pakistani dramas and always heard either saath suhaagne or sada suhagan raho. And far as I can think there no word in urdu that is same as "suhagan" and this is the only word that makes sense.
