But what I find most admirable about Asha is her pride in being a small town girl..
Not something that everyone exudes..
She is proud of her lineage and her roots..
Remember how RD said in one of his interviews ( when he was not dating her/ or was already dating her probably) that her wants a girl devoid of any sort of MASK...
She is exactly that... A girl without mask. No facade, no pretense -- a girl who gleefully admits to being a foodie (sacrilege if you are in glamour industry) and being lazy (not something one should admit to if one is to remain ahead in the cat and mouse game of the Industry)..
But comes the time of a big ordeal, and she doesn't shy away from professionalism. She does PR and Nach Baliye simultaneously with infected eyes, chin injury and doesn't even make a big ado about it, doesn't try to garner sympathy out of it...
For a self admitted lazy bum, she works round the clock and doesn't shout from the roof top that she is working Oh! so hard. ( I know RD too deserves a huge credit for all of this).
She puts a heart to become a good dancer and lo behold! she impresses the veterans like Terence Lewis.
And the SWEETEST of all-- She works hard towards realizing the dream of her Baliye ( that they'd try to win the prize money to buy a house for RD's parents)...
She is a GEM, BEAUTIFUL and SCINTILLATING--- inside out.
So we LOVE her..
