As much as hate the Kamla's mother in law, she had said one true thing. If they spent atleast 1/8 of the time they did with Kalpi( I mean for studies), Pakya would at the least have a decent job. What do u guys think?

ya, I still don't understand why she ignored her Son. I understand that she wanted to educate her daughter but that doesn't mean leave her son out like that..SO confused..

Even if he was not interested in studies, send him to learn a trade.
He would obviously need a job to support his parents, future wife and kids. Unless they were all countingon Kalpi madam to support them all?

They definitely wasted any potential he may have had. So many children don't like studies and they bunk and run away from school and it's the parents responsibility to drag them back. I think if his father had a trade it would have been easier to know what he would do in his life. Generally sons follow their father's footsteps. A carpenter's son is a carpenter etc.

According to the lady who cleans my house it's very common to have households where women are bringing all the money. In her community people are way happier if a girl is born because she's going to be a maid or a babysitter and earn money while the boys end up being money leechers.

^ lol... if they are going to treat sons like Kamla-Vitthal did, any son would be like him, C'mon.. We cannot blame everything on son..!

Paakhi was also never interested in studies, but as far as I remember she made and forced Paaki to sit and study.. In fact Paaki kicked out her tuition teacher as well.. and Kamla had stopped talking to her..!

So... CVs Pallleezz give that dumb excuse that Paakya was never interested in studies.. Pakiya was NEVER MADE interested in studies either.. which kid likes studying??
In addition, what surprises me the most, all this is not even bothering Pakya??

Had my Parents bought my brother laptop with first minimum salary, I might have fumed with jealousy.. Lol.. but Pakya is playing around with Kalpi, and least concerned... obvio, I am not saying turn into bitter enemy,,.. But atleast some effect toh hota hai..

Pakya doesn't have anything to do...he .just stands in the background with a clueless grin on his face

Seriously, Vithal should have gotten him some kind of a job, maybe driving ricksha of selling garments on the street in the linking road area.

If I were Pakiya, I'd be angry. Have to say that Pakiya is very understanding.
Still, I am glad that they were progressive enough to educate their girl but I'd never expect it in some poor family like theirs in real-life. Its always the boy who get the benefits while girls do thankless jobs.

Cv have this character don't know what to do with him
So he sit in a corner and do everyone bidding except his own
Remember when he was a teen his parents used to say they want him to become an engineer even thou pagya wasn't interested in study he was hard working always fixing ( he was good at it ) things for money
He did say when he grownup he'll work to help his mum
Poor chap now cv don't know what to do with ya.
