Part 3

I am grinning ear to ear right now as I did when I first read it as well and the many times in between.

It started out well with Manvi telling him her biggest news and him finally realising how much he had influenced her then later giving him a reason to discover the joy that was so sadly missing in his singing.

Though these parts are great, my favourite parts come later !!

One with jeevika folding her clothes as Manvi blundered on about her relationship/friendship with Virat. Oh how I miss J and her folding clothes 😆 I genuinely honestly cracked up as you kept mentioning about her folding clothes, so much so that I lost track of what Manvi was saying even. 😆 Thank you for adding that :))

Then of course I absolutely loved the Dhaba scene. Is this weird though that I just wrote a dhaba scene recently without even realising hmmm..Point to be noted, Loved the conversation here. It was full of fun and just perfect!

Also they found they had a lot in common ROFL This reminds me of someone I know really well 🤣

Then of course badtameez dil *starts dancing* there is something so cheery and bright about this song that I always start dancing and singing when this comes on (this you know anyway) so, I can totally imagine the two of them going crazy singing off key and just laughing like nuts.

The end may be sober but then they were friends weren't they'll manage just fine :)

Part 4

I am a bit speechless right now. I know I shouldn't be..I've read this before haven't I? Yet Its a feeling of contentment that this ending brought as much as a passionate kiss might have done the trick. Like you so rightly pointed out, it wasn't about the love story alone. It was about dreams and aspirations and how one person can turn your life around. It happened for Manvi with Virat and it happened for Virat with Manvi. This relationship is nearly complete.

Some parts really struck me as beautiful. How he called her after not calling anybody. How she told him the harsh truth of his life, it was like he wanted to hear it from her. That hug of hers, how much it meant to him. I liked the way he crept into her room (I like that kind of stuff, its cheesy but I would expect Virat to do something like that!) yet there is nothing but a simple caress on the cheeks! I loved how Manvi even as a writer acknowledges that sometimes silences can talk far more than words. That was a beautiful touch!

I loved how it ended. This was perfection.

I'm so lucky to have this as my gift :) as much as I have you as my dearest friend. Thank you so much for this and everything!!
