Rosa made me selfish: Saif

What's common between Saif Ali Khan and Karan Johar? They both have moved to their new individual pads in Bandra. And what's common between Saif and Karan again?

Shah Rukh Khan, who did a brilliant gay skit with Saif as anchors in an awards function two years ago, and now has buddy Karan moving into the same area as his, so that he could be closer to SRK!

But Saif moving into this new home has raised possibilities of his getting back with former wife Amrita Singh.

Ostensibly, Saif wants to 'own' his home and move from his rented flat in Andheri to a new pad in Bandra. "It will be quiet and lonesome -- I have no one to go home to anymore because I am single," Saif has been quoted as having said.

Saif has officially split with Italian girlfriend Rosa, who was the main cause for his walking out on wife Amrita in the first place.

He now admits that he misses "companionship and romance" in his life and that his new home is "open and planned for the eventual companion who will come into my life".

Saif now claims to be in serene mode as the calm after the storm, that is, his intense affair with Rosa. He admits that his intense affair made him quite selfish, making him rush home after work and even hang up on his mother!

But who exactly he means when he says that he wants "to enjoy the love that surrounds me now and my single status" puts forth several options, the most obvious one being teh reteurn of Amrita in his life. His new found serenity, he says, has helped him give 100 per cent to the many films he is now doing.

He is also back to stage performances and was seen at his gyrating best at the Vaswani family wedding in Dubai.

As Kenyan billionaires, the Vaswanis have many "star friends" in Bollywood who are paid quite a packet to provide entertainment at such weddings. Accompanying Saif were the other "friends" like Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif, Sonu Nigam, Sushmita Sen and Akshay Kumar.

These and other friends of Saif have also been talking about Saif's conversations being heavily titlted in favour of Amrita Singh, who he thinks is "a great actress," among other things. Is that his olive branch which he is now extending to his former wife who has, however, in the recent past called him a closed chapter.

On the GF front, Rosa who finally and officially admitted that she had split with Saif and had returned to Italy for a break.

But her intention was to return to Indias shortly and she is, in fact, back in Mumbai, ready to enter the glamour world with her debut as an anchor for designers Shane and Falguni Peacock's television show on fashion and style. Omkara to that! - (SAMPURN)
