CHAPTER-8.

Breathing heavily,Baldev stared into Veera's eye..His heart suddenly thumping crazily..

His whole being seemed to be centred around her..He inhaled along shaky breath,and as if that had broken the trance,Veera blinked and looked away.

"Let's..Let's go to the bed.."As soon as the words were out of her mouth,she turned tomato red.She did not turn to see the slight glint that came to Baldev's eyes,at her words..

"I..I mean my tablet is on my bed,so..Let's go and SIT there and find a solution.."She stammered her explanation,unable to look at him at all.

Veera strode towards the bed and nearly dragged Baldev at his wake,and sat on the bed with a thump.

"Tainu na ladki jaisi koi baat aati hi nahi!Tera chalna bhi bilkul ladko jaise hai..!Aaj kya bhul se suit pehenli,phir bhi waise hi hai tu!

[You don't have any lady like quality in you!Your walking style is also just like guys..!Today by mistake you wore the suit,yet you are the same!]"Baldev muttered as he sat beside her,and instantly got a blasting look from Veera.

"Ei!Zyada udd maat!Tainu ki farak painda hai?!Main ladki dekhu ya ladka!Jo bhi hu khush hoon!Tere jaise nahi,jo baat baat mei beeji beeji roti rahu..!

[Hey!Don't fly too much!What does it matter to you?!If I look like a girl or a guy!However I am,I am happy with it!Not like you,that whatever happens I'll run calling Beeji Beeji..!]"

"Look who is talking!As if she doesn't need her Veerji in everything..!"Baldev scoffed and rolled his eyes,just before he was pulled close to her,her one hand pulling at his jacket collar.

"Don't say anything about my Veerji..!!!"

Baldev was startled at the act,to say the least.His eyes almost bulged out,at first,just before,he realized he was looking into Veera's beautiful burning eyes,their lips up close,with their warm breath mingling with each others..

He could not help himself,but looked deep into the brown orbs,completely getting lost in them..He did not struggle even once,or they to get himself or his jacket collar free from her tiny hand,which would have been a piece of cake for him,anytime of the day.

He inhaled a raspy breath,his dark deep eyes darkening with a burning need,as the seconds ticked by,and his heavy eyes lowered to her soft lips..

As if in reaction,her lips parted to take in a shaky breath,and Baldev knew he was losing his control,once again..

Veera felt tingling sensations on her lips,as she watched his deep dark eyes looking at them,with the oddest expression in them.Her breathing was slowly getting deeper,unable to stop feeling the arousing sensations,that his simple gaze was building.

She took in another shuddering breath through her parted lips,as her lips went on tingling,making her feel he was actually touching them with his fingers,and not barely looking at them.

She knew she had to let go of his collar,and put some sort of distance between them,but then..Then his eyes looked back into hers,and she was hypnotized once again.

Her anger,was long replaced by an all new and undeniable need..

"Teri aankhon se mainu kha jayegi ki..?Haat nahi chadna tainu meri..?

[Are you going to eat me with your eyes..?Don't you want to let go of my hand..?]"Baldev asked softly,his husky voice making her give out an uncontrollable shiver.

But finally Veera pulled herself free of the trance,by suddenly letting go of him.

Embarrassed,and a bit uncomfortable,she got back to her previous job of searching in the internet for a solution to their problem,in her tablet.

As she looked into its screen,she felt Baldev's head coming nearer,and out of the corner of her eyes,she noticed he was trying to peep in too..

"Tainu dekhna hai ki,ya mujhe dekhne dega..?!

[Are you going to see this,or let me do this..?!] "Veera asked in an irritated voice.

Baldev instantly moved away,letting her do her work.

It was after some time after Veera had found a possible solution of using nail polish remover on the stuck parts.And having that had handy,she tried on this option..

The only problem being,it was a lengthy process,and they had to sit patiently for quiet sometime for the remover to start on its magical glue unsticking action.

As the seconds ticked by,an uncomfortable silence ensued,as both tried to look everywhere except each other..Afraid of the consequence,of looking or feeling too much of each other.

It was almost 11:30 pm when someone knocked loudly when someone knocked loudly at the door.

Both got startled,and stared at each other,with racing heart..

WHERE THEY GOING TO BE CAUGHT TONIGHT?!What if someone saw them locked up inside a room,so late at night..?!And that also holding hands..?!What would happen then..?!

They both gulped down a knot of tension,as their eyes moved back towards the door.

"Veerakhdhi!Tu so gayi ki..?!Main tere liye doodh laya tha..

[Veerakhdhi!Did you fall asleep..?!I had brought milk for you..]"Ranvi's soft voice made Veera smile softly,and stand up,ready to open the door..

She had not taken one step,when a firm male hand pulled her back,and she tumbled on her back onto the bed..Seconds before,an angry male face came close to her face.

"Are you crazy..?!What do you think you are doing..?!"He hissed out between clenched teeth,making Veera's hackles rise again.

"Wo meri Veerji-.."

"CHUP!

[QUIET!]"He hissed out,covering her mouth with his hand..

She instantly pulled his hand off her mouth,and fought to get up again..Her bangles tinkling softly,at the act..

"Veera!You are going to kill me tonight..!Stop it!"Baldev hissed out again,now completely getting on top of her body,to keep her from moving.

Baldev cursed softly at her reasonless,senseless stubborn attitude..Just before his free hands trapped her soft ones,against the bed,while the stuck hand was trapped on the other side,to prevent her bangles from tinkling.

Another knock,made her eyes shine with determination,and sending him a last scathing stubborn look,she opened her mouth to respond to her Veerji's summons.

The sound never came out,as with a soft curse,his firm male lips suddenly closed over hers..Taking her breath away..
