Kya Socha tha aur Kya ho Gaya! A weekend of guessing on Ben's dresses, whether the precap/promo was a dream or not, whether Jodha would be charged with murder, and the list goes on! The CVs are definitely on top of their game - if not in the best track in the world but at least keeping us on our toes.
While I was one of the folks who had liked the precap on Friday, I was equally worried on its implications for Jodha if she murdered Ben. Hence, I actually liked the episode today. While the episode was positive enough, I still thought I would have fun with my positives from the episode today just to cheer up the folks who wanted Ben dead today 😊

1. The light at the end of the tunnel shines bright and clear. Today, there were many signs of the end of the Ben track and a lot of mixed spoilers and signals we received cleared up. A few observations below:
- I know where Ben is going to wear her two dresses: 1 for the mehndi and 1 for the Nikah day (it looks like not only the CVs are willing to give Ben more dresses but a mehndi ceremony- no wonder Shivani ran away πŸ˜‰) phew- so many guesses yesterday
- With the precap, looks like Salima will finally don the daasi garb we saw to follow Ben
- A very interesting piece of foreshadowing today: After the Jodha- Ben confrontation, after Jodha leaves, Ben says if this is my last laugh then I will make sure I bite you last referring to Jodha begum- now I think it is quite clear who will receive the bite

Now that I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, it is funny how the path there does not seem so dark.

2. Jalal's detective skills are recovering. He figured out that Jodha was the one who shot the arrows. I don't know where his detective skills go when it applies to Ben but at least it is intact now.

3. I am so glad the public humiliation of Jodha is now ending and Jalal spoke to her individually on the boat incident and chose not to punish her. Paridhi does such a good job playing a transparent Jodha- she can't even lie properly. However, I think Jalal knows her heart is in the right place or is learning that. Or does Jalal finally know Ben's truth as many of us had hoped?

4. The distinctions between the boat ride between Jodha and Jalal and Ben and Jalal. I know quite a few people were upset that a lot of classic scenes between Jodha and Jalal are repeated between him and Ben. However, I was very happy between the distinctions between today's scene and the prior classic. Here are a few differences I found:
- Jalal had stared at Jodha the whole time; here he hardly gave Ben any eye contact. Not even a smile when he held his hand to support her.
- Even Jodha and Jalal had been interrupted by arrows, but the way Jalal emoted concern for Jodha was far more sincere then with Ben- he said many more words of reassurance to Jodha.

I would encourage folks to watch that boat scene between Jodha and Jalal to note the differences- if not for anything else but as a reason to watch an Akdha scene if you ever needed a reason.

5. The lep love story: one can write a book on the role of lep in the love story of Jodha and Jalal. πŸ˜‰ As cliched as it was, loved the Akdha interaction today. Jalal's sentence that you give the hurt, and you put the lep is a repeated theme that he has mentioned. The way Rajat emoted that dialogue it seemed so deep: for Jalal, Jodha is the one who torments him but is also the one whose company gives him solace.

Barely missed the list: another positive for Ruqaiyya's character recovering- she actually showed care for Jalal's safety today; she actually cares about something other than herself and her Audra. Imagine that!

Anyway, as the light at the end of the tunnel is now clear, the path to get there does not seem bad. I already saw the beautiful scene of Ben dead today! I can wait for a few more episodes to see it happen in reality.

Share your thoughts from the episode! Hopefully you found things to enjoy as I did.

But doesn't that make the distinction even clearer of how Jalal treats Jodha so much more differently then Ben? Or is that too good to be true and I am being naive?

Hi Divya,
I liked your analysis and especially the positivity. πŸ˜ƒ
I have not watched episodes of last 2-3 weeks due to personal reasons (I have been lucky that way πŸ˜‰). And saw today's episode. But I have enough info on the track so far!

I have always known (more like my dream πŸ˜›) that there will be one scene where Jodha tries to give her life to save Jalal and that will be THE turning point (among the other turning points which we were promised and delievred to some extent). I do hope the this Ben is gone before this weekend. I got tired of her after one episode!

Ahhh.. this serial should have been named "LEP: The curious enounters of the third kind". πŸ˜†
I do hope she continues to apply lep on him. But Jodha, please move on to the other parts of his body. Why are you just stoping at his hand?

On a serious note, his question to her was definitly loaded. She is the lep to his wounded soul.

Love

The suspense of when they will finally catch Ben, hopefully redhanded is now getting on our nerves...

as far as Jalal's detective insticts are concerned ..they are definitely intact...which is clear when he says he knows who shot the arrows...

and as far as ben is concerned ...i have a feeling that he is not as sure about her innocense as he shows apparently... i have a feeling he is waiting to catch her red handed...

about him not punishing Jodha even though he is aware it was she who shot the arrows... I remembered Mirza saying when u love someone u cannot hurt them whatever the reason...and its obvious that he can never hurt Jodha...

and, if, as we suspect ben ends up biting Jodha, wonder what will be Jalal's reaction...

loved your post buddy !!πŸ‘πŸΌ
yes, the points u mentioned r the highlight of today's epi.😳

esp. the boat-ride scene ! like u, I was also happy...coz u can see the difference within 2-3 secs ! Jalal didnt even care to look at Benazir as if he was loathing her...and look at out Ja-Jo epic scene where his eyes were set on his Jodha Begum...how he held her, how he assured her "hum aapko kuch nahi hone denge".

another good thing was Jodha not killing Benazir...she used her brain n came up with amazing tactic to save Jalal...applause Jodha Begum !πŸ‘

loved how Jalal even knowing the fact didn't punish her..well, I felt he was happy..he was convinced Jodha did this out of jealousy and he liked it...😳real reasons only known to Jodha...πŸ˜†

"chot bhi aap pahauchati hai aur marham ki khud lagati hai" is Jalal's usual dialogue ! no matter how many times he utters is, every-time it has its own unique meaning.😳

do u really feel Ruqu was concerned about Jalal ??😳 no dear...if Jalal died in the attack, Ruqu's Malika-e-Begum status would be at stake !!🀒 hence she was worried...it was, is and always will be auda, rudba, hasiyat for Ruqu !😑

Jodha's dialogues to Ben was fantabulous !! "ghrinit jantu" "hato!" loved them totally ! Ben should better not mess with Baghinn Jodha !! the convo was well- scripted, well-directed and well-acted (from Pari's side) scene.πŸ‘πŸΌ

Jalal at DEK questioning Jodha scene can stop anyone's heartbeat..the way he was trying his best to read her face...he nailed it!πŸ˜†

Thanks so much for your comments! I am glad you are equally excited by the highlights of today's episode.
I also didn't completely fall for Ruqaiyya- that is why it almost made it to my list but not quite πŸ˜‰

You have started watching the episodes at the right time! I think it the last week- I can now account for Ben's dresses and Meghna Naidu is off to Kohlapur. 😊

It he suspense was also getting on my nerves ... However, after nightmares of Jodha being tried for murder this weekend, today it does not look so bad.

I am hoping for a smarter Jalal as well ... His brains and intelligence are still in there somewhere πŸ˜‰

I also liked Pari's acting in the DEK scene when Jalal was asking her questions. She did it so well. It is very difficult for Jodha to lie and Pari was very convincing in that scene. Both Rajat and Pari were good in that scene.
Now I think that Jalal knows something about Ben. Otherwise he wouldn't have left Jodha unpunished even after realizing it was she who shot arrows. He wouldn't have left her only because he loves her. That is out of his character. I think he knows something about Ben and trying to find more. I felt Jalal's brain is slowly coming back and I am happy about that.
