what the!!! gurmeet

Today, took the cake for I have never in all my years of watching TV shows ever come across sympathy votes trying to be garnered for just one contestant couple. I mean if they showed clips of all the 4 contestant couples and their struggles etc. I would say that's fair even though I don't believe it should be allowed so late in the game/competition. If they needed to choose one couple only then it should have been Vinod and Raksha but StarPlus never showed their bias towards them and did not try to garner sympathy votes for them because of his disability. What they are doing for Gurmeet and Debina is despicable, cheap and utterly disgusting.

For me, this act of desperation to garner sympathy votes for Gurmeet and Debina was an epic fail - it had the opposite effect - because of the unfairness, I could not connect with what was being shown at all and I did not feel one iota of sympathy because I kept thinking what about the other 3 contestants who have also had difficult journeys to get where they are today - why are they being discriminated against?

Strangely, why was Gurmeet and Debina's act today the only one where the judges comments were recorded and played over the music during the performance - unheard of - something is terribly wrong here because comments only come after the performance so how did we get to hear them during the performance and before it ended???

Millions of people in India live in slums under such deplorable conditions which are definitely not fit for human beings and except in Delhi, who speaks for them? There are many actors and actresses who have struggled but it is nothing compared to the homeless and the hungry living on the streets of India but yet you don't find those actors and actresses losing their self-respect and their souls to garner sympathy votes to win the trophy and the prize money. Just see what's out there in twitter world - just astounding!! Are these people that desperate and have they lost their souls? It's deja vu all over again - like Jhalak 5!

Also, since this is my first time watching Nach Baliye - could someone kindly let me know if in Nach Baliye 5 they had voting for 7 consecutive days (that is 5 extra days of voting) before the grand finale or was it from Saturday 9 pm to Monday 9 am because NB6 schedule says only the latter and not 7 days. I am beginning to wonder what's going on - why this sudden change from StarPlus' own schedule online of dates and times for voting throughout the competition. If this has not happened previously then it begs questioning!!!

We are hearing up here that this show is rigged, that the "chosen couple" has been practicing months in advance of Nach Baliye 6 starting and that the "chosen couple" has already been decided as the winner by StarPlus a long time ago - We don't want to believe this but with everything happening in the show, it seems quite possible that the show is rigged and if that is the case, it's time to stand up against it. It's time for the "aam aadmi" to change this because you have the power!!
