Deepika now has a filmfare best actress award along with many others

Katrina ZERO even when shes been in the industry double the time

Who can katrina compete with?

Nargis fakhri? Rakhi sawant? Who??

And no im not a deepika or anyone's fan

The growth in Deepika is certainly astonishing. When I saw her in LAK I immediately labeled her a wooden plank. I applaud her for the transformation she's gone through!

With that being said, the star power of Deepika and Katrina is incomparable. I'll go as far as saying Katrina has the star power of Khans. She even lured in the audience to watch a Prakash Jha film based on politics like Rajneeti.

No longer? It has never been Kat vs DP. Kat has always been way ahead of her in popularity and starpower. And in acting they never really got compared in the first place.. because Kat was referred to as a non-actor from day 1 by most people.

You know the funny thing is when vidya won the filmfare last year apparently it was her connections etc so the whole show is rigged

But when deepika gets it , it's very genuine !

I really don't think Katrina is out there to get filmfares

She never TRIED such roles

As for deepika vs Katrina , I think we could compare the two when deepika even lasts 3 more years at the top

obviously Katrina cannot do what DP achieved in a single calendar year.. i know , there has been repeated posts on how Kat is the bigger star, has been the sexiest women, blah and blah, but then for how long will she be there ? till she doesnt get wrinkles right ? atleast years later ppl will remember 2013 as DP's year, indeed none of the actresses could deliver such a successful year b4. Lets plss give her the credit when she deserves, and lemme tell u i dislike DP and kat both.

and yeah ppl might say who cares about Vidya, or she is restricted to unusual films or roles, but lets not forget , she will be worshipped for her iconic roles like silk and vidya baghchi, her national award and many more to come.

and yeah if DP wouldnt win Filmfare also, then also the fact wouldnt change that currently she is ahead of not only katrina but her other contemporaries. so yeah good luck to her.

Actually DP was never known as an actor either until Cocktail. I recall on this forum Katrina, DP and Sonam were called the wooden planks or something like that.

Am in the minority but I don't think Katrina is a wooden plank. She's just a lazy actress who doesn't take acting too seriously as others. She knows the audience outside of this forum loves her just the way she is. I don't think she is a bad actress..I loved her in ZNMD, Raajneeti (she was better than Ranbir IMO), NL, and HDKG. And I liked DP in Cocktail and YJHD. Haven't seen RL yet. CE she was OTT in some scenes so I can't say I fully liked her in the film.

Katrina Kaif is sitting pretty with a 500 crore movie under her belt inspite of

no filmfare award for best actress and Kareena Kapoor Khan is begging her

friend KJO for movies like GTPM which is disaster at BO like heroine where

she is supposed to 'act'. Kat has the pick of movies right now. Every

producer director actor wants the girl with the Midas touch.

statements like this are silly.

Where are those Kat solo films, if true? Wouldnt producers be lining up for her to do solo projects if she could carry a film on her own. Last I saw she did a 10 minute role in D3.

^ she did a film with Imran and John..that's pretty much like a solo film because Imran and John have no star power. Many said she carried MBKD on her shoulders.
