Pyar Ka Dard HaiWritten Update 24th January 2014
- Pankhuri hugs Aditya and says that she's very lucky to have him as her husband. Harish joins them and all of them share a moment.
- Preity enters her house to see Nirmala in the living. She ignores and walks towards her room. Nirmala sternly asks her what happened at work that Sameer returned early? Preity says she doesn't mix personal and professional life. Nirmala gets angry and says she will if her work affects her son. Preity too says that Nirmala's son is her husband, and she doesn't care less. She leaves.
- Harish, Aditya and Pankhuri have tea on the sets of Harish's show. Adi sips the tea and says it's disgusting. He takes Pankhuri's and says the same. He then takes Harish's and once again says the same. Harish laughs at Adi's innocence which will always remain no matter what.
- Avantika is looking at the work files sent by Adi and is super angry that Adi's work is horrible in comparison to Rubel's who has done so well. The peon informs that Adi has asked Avantika not to call him for the next two hours since he is busy with personal work.
- Rubel calls Payal. He asks if all is well, and she agrees. He then tells her to note this number since he would call from here henceforth. Payal asks why he took the trouble of looking for a PCO? Rubel is blushing. He says he'll talk later and that he has work. Payal smiles and they hang up.
- Back at DM, Avantika and Anuj are having a meeting with the Minister. They treat him like a Royal. And he explains how this petroleum project is really good and he is looking forward to working with them. Just then Aditya and Pankhuri arrive, but Aditya walks away despite seeing the minister. Avantika sternly calls out to him and introduces the minister. Adi casually says hello and begins walking off when Avantika once again calls out to him angrily and asks him to come greet the minister. He comes and begins eating the food kept on the table, and in a very rough manner. Avantika and Anuj look on surprised and pissed off.
- The Minister informs Adi that he liked the proposal and would like to conduct a meeting tomorrow morning. Aditya simply says no and that he is busy till next week. The Minister says that he is going out of town next week and hence the meeting should be done now. Aditya still disagrees and says he is too busy, he will not cancel his meetings for this.
- The Minister gets angry and walks off, Anuj follows to stop him but the Minister does not pay heed. He feels insulted. Avantika gets up and shouts at Aditya for behaving so immaturely. Anuj too agrees and says that he was Nanaji's good friend and they had to respect that. Aditya says that they are Diwans are they don't need to beg in front of someone. Other projects like this will come. Avantika gets angry again and says that she feels they have made a mistake in making Aditya the MD. Sheila and Payal are there too, listening to the whole drama happening. Anuj tells Aditya to go to his room and asks Avantika to calm down.
- Avantika breaks down. Aditya is leaving for his room and smirks at Sheila signaling that he is fulfilling his promise. Sheila is still not satisfied.
- Preity enters their room and asks Sameer why he hasn't gone to his friends' and now she too would accompany him. She asks for his opinion in what to wear. Sameer asks her to stop this and not cover up for getting mad at him at the hospital. Preity says that her decision was right and she will not change. Before they can talk, Preity's phone rings and she gets informed that all the doctors have gone on a strike. Preity and Sameer argue and leave for the hospital.
- Aditya and Pankhuri are both crying in their room. Aditya emotionally hugs Pankhuri and says that he cannot hurt his mom anymore. He just can't. Tomorrow during the interview he will take a final step and end all this once and for all so he doesn't have to act bad every time. Pankhuri agrees and they hug. - Later, Pankhuri brings food for Aditya. He says he is not hungry and she should not irritate him like always to eat. She says okay and starts saying that she is happy that he won't be the MD since he has got wrinkles, white hair, he doesn't even do his beard and he has become so thin. By the time Aditya realizes this, Pankhuri has finished the juice and food. He gets angry at her for finishing off everything alone.
- Pankhuri retorts that he said that he doesn't want to eat and she couldn't force him so she finished it. He orders her to bring him food. She leaves and he starts eating the left over food of Pankhuri. She sees this and is happy that released his tension.
- At the hospital the doctors say that they don't care they will only resume duty after those two doctors are brought back. Preity tries to explain, but in vain. They leave. Sameer tells her that her decision was wrong, but Preity is adamant and says that her decision was right and she will stand firm and look for a solution to this alone. Sameer gets angry and leaves. Preity is thoughtful.
- At DM, Payal gives Pankhuri food for Aditya. Just then she screams Rubel! And rushes to see him hurt on the hand and foot. She takes him to the couch. Everyone comes there. Sheila pushes Payal off and sits next to Rubel. She begins ranting how Rubel is hurt, but no one cares since only some prople are prioritized in this family. She demands that Rubel will not go to the site anymore. Rubel asks her to relax and that such incidents always happen on site.
- Aditya sees Rubel and tells him to be a man and he shouldn't have ran away from the site just because of a small scratch. Rubel feels bad. Avantika asks Aditya to keep quite and stop acting casual like a clown. Aditya asks Avantika to calm down and he's just asking Rubel to learn to be brave and not run away from difficulty. Avantika is angry.
- Sheila again says this is her final decision and Rubel will not go to the site. Avantika says that no one has told Rubel to go to the site, Sheila should stop ranting and Rubel needs rest. She goes forward to help Rubel but Sheila stops Avantika and says that she can help her son. Rubel asks what's wrong with Sheila but she asks him to shut up. Finally, Payal helps Rubel and takes him to his room. Sheila and the rest leave too.
- Avantika is about to leave too when Aditya says that Rubel needs to be a man and if not him then who will go to the site and work? Avantika is now pissed off at Aditya's behavior and says that if need be, he will go and work at the site. Aditya smirks and Avantika leaves angrily.
- Pankhuri comes to console Aditya but he tells her to stop being emotional and that he is still hungry and is waiting for his pasta. Pankhuri leaves to get the food and Aditya becomes sad. He wishes that he had never sent Rubel to the site, and hopes his brother recovers soon.
PRECAP: Looks like there is a function at Diwans. Aditya tells Avantika that Purshottam Diwan was the past of Diwan Group of Industires, and he (Aditya) is the present. And in order to move on in life one needs to forget the past (ie: Nanaji) and move on. Avantika is teary-eyed. She turns Aditya and gives him a tight slap in front of everyone.
