I know people have already been making the comparison, but now as I watch the 21st jan episode, I can't help but notice it too! The two cousins, the girl form a small town with a very khudaar family, the guy from a big family with a class discriminating overprotective mother. Then some unforeseen circumstance leads them to a situation where the father gives his son's hand in marriage to his sister's daughter, both mother and son unhappy with the decision, the mother has a confrontation with the father, and the father with the son. and even some of the dialogue overlaps (see video link below)!
I'm still in progress of watching yesterday's and today's epi, will update post after then.
Even with the similarties to humsafar, I'm hoping to see a fresh take as to what happens to the two and their families. Both harshad and preetika are doing good job and I am enjoying their work so far, can't wait to see what's next !
