I think that Dev didn't lose his life after the car accident, he just lost his memory. He thinks that he is Raju but he's not. That is why a lot of his mannerisms match Dev's and why he was singing the song and why Kaajjal is so sure that Raju is Dev.

I even if the producer comes and says that aint dev, I aint gonna believe her until that actually happens in the show!. lol. I hope either he just lost his memory or that he'z faking his death, so he can stay away from Kajju so nothing happens to her.
