The cast of CID was in Ahmedabad recently, shooting for a special two-part episode on the occasion of Uttarayan.

Featuring a murder mystery woven around the backdrop of the kite-flying festival in the city, it shows the CID team searching there for their missing officer Shreya and while doing so, coming across a murder case.

The team visited all the prominent landmarks and scenic locations in the city. It was Shivaji Satam (ACP Pradyuman), Dayanand Shetty(Daya) and Aditya Shirvastava's (Abhijeet) first time in the city. The team received much more than a warm welcome as the first day of the shooting had to be cancelled owing to crowd frenzy and hopefuls thronging to take autographs of and click pictures with their favourite stars.

Shivaji said, "It was an amazing experience. I also enjoyed the local delicacies, especially undhiyu with moong bhajia and the jalebis."

Recently we had reported about the CID team
shooting for a special episode in Ahmedabad. Well,
the popular show from the stables of Fireworks
Production on Sony Entertainment Television will
take you through a thrilling adrenaline filled twin
series set against the backdrop of the International
Kite Flying Festival in Ahmedabad.

Whether it is the haute couture lanes of Paris or
the intricate jungles of Maharashtra or bustling
streets of Chandni Chowk, ACP Pradyuman (Shivaji
Satam) and his team of cops have gone
everywhere to hunt the criminals in their pledge to
eradicate crime. And now, CID cops Pradhyuman,
Daya (Dayanand Shetty) and Abhijeet (Aditya
Srivastav) with their team will land all the way in
the Kite Capital of Gujarat to shoot for a special
Makar Sakranti episode.

The episode will feature a murder mystery woven
around the backdrop of the famous International
Kite flying festival in Ahmedabad. CID cops will
reach Ahmedabad in search of their missing officer
Shreya and in this search the cops will hit another
murder case.


The Ahmedabad Police and the people of
Ahmedabad will be seen supporting them in
solving this case which will occur during the
festival. The cops in the hunt for the criminal will
be seen exploring the whole city; from the beautiful
locales of the Sabarmati Lake, to the gullies and to
the heritage houses in the city.
