Hrithik - Abhishek - Shah Rukh clash to be averted

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dulha Mil Gaya is bowing out of the race to release on the same date as Jodhaa Akbar and Laaga Chunari Mein Daag. Ashutosh Gowarikar's Hrithik-Aish starrer historical love story and Yash Raj Productions' Pradeep Sarkar (Parineeta) directed Abhishek - Rani - Konkona - Kunal Kapoor starrer had already announced their release date as 12th October. Just a few weeks back, the makers of Dulha Mil Gaya had also announced their release date on the same date.

Dulha Mil Gaya is presented by TV star Anuj Saxena's production house Maverick Productions. We may either pre pone or postpone our film by a week or two. We can't wait till Diwali week (Nov 9) because it already has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya and the Aamir Khan produced Taare Zameen Par scheduled for release."

"It is a good thing that DMG's release date is being postponed because at the end of the day if more than one big film releases on the same day it definitely affects business and the audience interest of all the films. Either all of them stand to lose or only film ends up cutting into business of the rest of them. Most prime example is last year's Diwali releases, Don and Jaan-e-man. Don became a hit and Jaan-e-man could hardly gather a respectable initial despite having big star names like Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan and Preity Zinta. Plus the Hrithik - Aish combo after Dhoom 2 might hold bigger interest for the audience than any other stars now. Yash Raj's Laaga Chunari Mein Daag is less likely to change its date because the leading production house of Bollywood is always confident of their projects and never budge from their announced dates." observes a Bollywood Trade Analyst.

Directed by debutant Mudasar Aziz and produced by actor - producer Vivek Vaswani, Dulha Mil Gaya stars Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, Fardeen Khan and newcomer Ishita Sharma. The shooting of the film has begun from 15th March and a month long shooting stint is underway in Mehboob Studio following which the crew shall be flying to Trinidad and Tobago for the remaining schedule. The film is apparently based on last year's Oscar nominated Hollywood hit, Devil Wears Prada. -- Abhijit Mhamunkar

i dont care which actor's movie will be a hit but from my bottom of my heart i want dulha mil gaya to be hit coz of sushmita she is such a brillant actor n a few of her movie has flopped so i want her to give us a hit

sushmita.. hmm.. yea.. so true.. i think that her movie where she is a dectative and her daughter gets kidnapped by Jackie Shroff (can't remember the name of the movie),.. was soo good.. but it was a dud on the box office!!!

PLUS! srk is in it.. and also!! it's a anju movie.. so i hope that Dulha is a BLOCK BUSTER!!!!!
