Will the 3rd Season Be Good?

Will the 3rd Season of II be the best thus far, or will it turn out like most other reality shows whose 2nd season has had a poor response... Is it just too much hype with nothing much in it, or is it really worth it - we will get to see soon... But one thing Ii am looking forward to is certainly the new set of judges, more than anything else👏 I am so happy Farah Khan is out and we have some really good judges in udit narayan, javed akhtar... lets hope the contestants r good as well and it turns out better than II2 or Fame X...

I guess we'll find out in a few weeks, on May 4th, to be exact.

Well, I think II3 will be better than Fame X. The problem with Fame X were the judges, faculty and lack of any hype or interest in the show. The show started and just ended without making much of an impact. There's more hype surrounding II3. Hopefully, its not just hype but also "substance", as in, talented singers! I like the new panel of judges as well. Its still not clear if Javed saab will judge every episode or just a few. 😕 II1 was a novel concept so it was a huge hit. There are a lot of music and reality shows on TV so hard to say if II3 will be the 'best season'.

Oh yeah, I hope they have better themes this time around. Some of the themes in II2 weren't that great. Themes will separate the good singers from the excellent ones. Maybe II3 should have a variety of gala themes such as 'non-orchestra' round, pop music songs, semi-classical/classical/specific raag-based round, qawwali/sufi (I really hope so!!), favorite actor/actresses song, duet round where each contestant sings a duet with a former II1/II2 contestant! OMG, that would be awesome cos we could see our favorites from the previous seasons sing/perform too!! 😃 I liked the AR Rehman round so they should repeat that as well. Or maybe a different music director.

I think its good to have new Judges this season...they will be entusiastic and will infuse some excitement.

Hussein as anchor might be another master stroke as he is currently riding high on the television popularity wave !
I would have loved to see Tina as a co host with him tho' but Mini certainly was the lesser evil from teh host duo of last year.. 😛

Firstly I would like to put a disclaimer :

I have 3 points :

1. II3 Will 1000% endure loss of Sonu Nigam & Farah Khan. Both of them have great persona + clean profile.

They have a load of great work delivered to Bollywood & Society !

They were totaly commendable on II1 & II2

2. New Judges don't have a clean profile as Sonuji & Farah.Neither of the judges have a persona of a JUDGE !

The 'show ka haal' would be the same as of KBC3 ! Char din ki chadni <say viewership> phir andheri raat 🤢

3. I am ( in fact I was ) a great fan of Indian Idol.

My craze for the show was such that I seriously decided to become a singer ( Off course, I have the talent also as told by my teacher who completed her classical music's Visharad in 1952 )

I started attending classes of classical music in order to participate the show .

After 1 year of classical training ( Still going on.. )

I went to Mumbai Auditions.

I was selected in first 2 rounds..out of 10,000 people I was invited in top74

All 74 of us performed in front of Anu,Alisha,Udit & Javed Akhtar on 3rd April @ Ravindra Natya Mandir,Prabhadevi Mandir.

And what I saw there ..I tell u kutte ki dum abhi bhi tedhi hi hai...

They still dont give preference to SUR !
