Take 5: 5 positives from January 23, 2014

Love your optimism! But the events that have happened this week have completely dampened my desire to watch this show. So I skipped it. Going by the written update, MA gave the idea of getting Jalaal married to Ben to eliminate Jodha, but, is Ruqaiyya so insecure? Doesn't she realize that even if Ben was harmless, in future she could be a threat to her "audha". Or is she so confident of herself, that, if and when that happens, she'll get Jalaal married again to eliminate Ben?

Nice to see a positive and calm view of the episode.

Hi Divya, great post😛 we definitely need such posts now, as we are struggling to digest what is happening before us. The only hoping criteria is now Jodha and Salima team. Fingers crossed.

The less said about Jalaal, the better. He behaves like a pendulum, one instance trusting Jodha and being patient, another, doubting her and insulting her openly.

dear even if it is mentioned by Zee that this is a love story and jalal can't be intelligent and smart in matters related to love matters, this is a gross injustice on the part of cv's to assasinate the character of jalal/akbar. the fall in trp should be a slap on the face of zee and ekta for their over confidence. last week though ben scenes are less but the track is of ben only. like me thousands of people are disgusted as excess of anything will result in sickness and stopped watching the episodes. the same will continue next week too unless some remarkable change in the track is shown.With those promos as bonus for this trash episodes in the week 20thjan to 24th jan the trps will go down. and i hope and pray it should happen to wake the cv.s and ekta. later all of us akdha fans will improve the trps wholeheartedly with positive marketing.

Hi, Divya, good to read ur positives post again. As u said for me too a tiny consolation that Jalal wasnt in favor of marrying Ben & second the precap, Salima s back again pitching in to help JaJo rship. Otherwise it was a totalky thumbs down epi for me with too many illogicalities & accusing Jodha by everyone publicly. Hated it however justified it might seem from Jalal s POV . One other big positive (if it can be called so 😉 ) , the TRPs might do what the fans calls couldnt do, final bye bye for Benu once & for all?.. 😉 😆

It is law of life- all things must go down ( practically to rock bottom in this case) before they come up. Bakwaas and pukeworthy these were some adjectives for today's episode and I have to say that is probably true.

Kudos to those who saw what was coming- that It was MA's master plan that Ben was injured and back in the DEK and Salima will help Jodha.

Yesterday I tried to find 5 positives from the episode to cheer myself- if I had to do that yesterday I absolutely have to do that today.

So, here's my take on top 5 positive things from today's episode:

1. The wedding was neither Jalal's idea nor Ruqaiyya's- it was Ben and maybe MA's plan a bit. There is a common belief that credit should be given to the person who comes up with the idea- luckily both Jalal or Ruks do not win that prize.

2. Jalal objected to the wedding idea immediately as impossible- this proves that somewhere Jalal continues to have a brain till it is brainwashed by Ruqaiyya and MA. There is hope yet.

3. Ben postponed the wedding by going to a dargah - there is hope yet. Jodha has more time to stop the wedding. Looks like Ben is planning to kill Jalal there and run- remember she always wanted to run from a dargah. And she'll still be faithful to her love Abu Mali this way.

4. Salima's back! How much I missed her and I am so glad she is with Jodha. It was she who told Jalal once that truth is often stranger than fiction in the fake pregnancy track and that evidence can be weird. Hopefully she proves the same this time.

5. Ben's end is near. This is has been the longest track to the history of this serial and they will stretch this track a few more days but the writing is on the wall. One person has reported Meghna has stopped shooting, meghna's tweet refers to music and dance and not JA and she has been quite direct in the past, and I looked at those Meghna dress pics and actually think there is only 1 dress- with the lighting it looks green in one and blue in another while I think it is a mixed shade. I think it is the one she will wear to the dargah.

I know this post is supposed to be positive but it also has to be practical- I doubt this track will wrap up tomorrow but will be stretched till Monday- they need to make sure we spend the weekend in torment and wait for Monday's episode, right?

Would love to hear your thoughts on the positives ( I know- it is difficult). Hopefully, in the future, the track will be positive on its own so I would not have to create a post like this ever again. Perhaps, I am a bit more confident now with the turn down of the TRPs.

I am a newbie so am capped on my posts - so if I can't respond this will be the only reason.

Love your update...I too feel the same that there is some hope...my thoughts are that Jalal knows a lot more than he is letting on...I think him and Jodha are in it together and some how it's all going to come out...in the episodes I see some of the looks that Jalal gives that makes me believe that he knows much more than he is letting on.
