The release of Aamir Khan's P.K. has been delayed for six months, and now the situation is that the movie is heading for a clash with Ranbir Kapoor's Bombay Velvet at the box office this Christmas. [BR][BR]The trade circle is abuzz with the news that both P.K. and Bombay Velvet are slated to release on December 25. [BR][BR]P.K. was earlier scheduled to release on June 6, but due to delay in production work it has been pushed to Christmas, while Bombay Velvet was always supposed to release on Christmas. Coincidentally, both the films have Anushka Sharma as the leading lady. [BR][BR]Spotted: Ranbir Kapoor in Sri Lanka for Bombay Velvet [BR][BR]Anurag Kashyap, the director of Bombay Velvet, is clear that there's no plan to shift the release date of the film. "We will stick to our plan. Of course, clashing with an Aamir Khan makes me worry but there's not much we can do about it. Right now, I am focussing on making a good film and not thinking about 'P.K.'," Anurag is quoted as saying. [BR][BR]So, will it be Aamir Khan to rethink the release date of his movie? [BR][BR]As per sources, Aamir Khan, who is quite fond of Ranbir Kapoor, doesn't want P.K. to clash with Bombay Velvet. He might just get the producers to release the film around December 20. Also, the press statement issued by P.K. makers, Disney UTV, doesn't mention the exact release date. [BR][BR]Check out: Aamir Khan bares it all in 'P.K.', plays an alien! [BR][BR]Meanwhile, the sequel of 2007-superhit Welcome, Welcome Back is also lined up for Christmas release.[BR] [BR]
