Rohit is too good in action sequences.. those deadly sword swings look so natural when he acts them out. I caught up with some fight sequences from his previous show Razia Sultan and he was DAMN good there.. those scenes look even better than those in Porus! I guess his costume here gives him some restrictions and he cannot just do a 'gulati' here! 😆

Rohit did a great job as Mirza (he still considers it his favorite character) and that was 3 years ago. There were lots of emotional scenes in that show and he never faltered. His growth has been fascinating to watch, considering he took a break and hasn't done another show in between Razia Sultan and Porus.

Horse riding, sword fighting, stunts, etc. Rohit is marvellous at those! His body language is never off. I don't know if you've noticed but whenever there's an exchange with another actor and his back is to the camera, he still maintains his stance so that when the camera goes back to his face the continuity is there, all the way to his facial expressions, the tilt of his chin and even the narrowing of his eyes.

I agree with Aunty that Rohit also excels at non-action/emotional scenes or those requiring subtlety and I find he portrays more through his eyes than most people can through dialogues. I cannot wait to see what he does in his next venture, I'm sure he'll just get better and better. 👏

Sameksha has got to be one of the most underrated actresses around. I do hope that after this show she gets some great offers to showcase her immense range. The fact that she managed to make viewers love her character and feel for her despite Olympias' questionable decisions and actions is all thanks to her superb performances.
I love her as much as I love Rohit, and when we get them together onscreen it's a party!
🥳

Roxanne's character was written to show a fiery princess who defies Alexander but sadly the portrayal has fallen short. What I still don't understand is why the actress playing Roxanne has not been able to deliver, considering how well she did in Kalash, which gained her a huge fan following.

I agree with you @luckysnow that she pales in comparison to Sameksha, but that's no excuse. In shows like this involving many characters, actors have a small window of opportunity to showcase their talent so they need to make the best of it. It's about quality not quantity. Rohit and Sameksha are great examples of this - despite receiving limited screen time right from the beginning they made their mark within the first few episodes.

I agree with others on the forum that I just can't see how she will fall in love with Alexander. Most viewers have lost interest in what could have been an interesting love story. As for her being all drunk and barking orders at Alexander, let's see if the makers give her more screen time. I don't want to see Alexander trying to woo her anymore. He put her in her place by pointing out that he loves his mother more than he loves her. 😆

Rohit is brilliant actor ...sameekhsha is even better...poor Roxane 🥺 itni charismatic saas ke samne pale ho jati hai... I would like dasyus to kidnap Olympias so that Roxane can have scenes without her presence. I am sure she will rock...

Would love her to be like the real one ... Bring me goblet of bactrian wine oh king of macedonia😛

Kahan likha hai ki Alexander Roxanne ke kapde dhota tha? I doubt if he would know how to wash his own clothes, or washed them either.

This is all stuff you are either making up, to amuse yourself, ir have picked up from some gossipy book.😆

No, my dear. I don't agree with this at all. Think of the kind of person Kanishka was as the Yuvaraj, at the beginning of the show. He was a bad hat through and through.

Such a person has no concept of the greater good, and would never bother about the very idea. Nor can he be reformed by appealing to his sense of right and wrong, for that is something he just does not have.

He would have been a very corrupt and inefficient king.

One thing about Kanishk is that no matter what happens, his conception is very clear. He knows exactly what he wants and at least uses his brain, being Shivdutt's protege after all. 😆

Seriously, if he had used his brain wisely and strategized for the greater good, he would definitely be a better king than Porus.

Not the Kanishk we've seen, of course not. That's why I said if he had used his brain wisely and strategized for the greater good ... He's not stupid, that's for sure. Had he had a conscience to go along with it, things would have turned out very different. He could have been Porus' biggest support in the war against Alexander.
