Serial should be more about Alexander

I watched few beginning episode of porus' recently .

If you happened to read any of my earlier analyses in this forum, you would have seen that I have constantly complained not only about the Alexander segments being, on the average, about one fourth of the Paurav Rashtra and Porus segments, but also about the systematic blackening of Alexander's character. It was only the excellent performance by Rohit Purohit that made up, to some extent, for the lack of footage and the deliberate distortions in his character as shown in the serial.

And I find that king porus story is quite boring and dragging..so ,much of Indian melow drama

I wish CVS Should have make the show more Alexander centric his life or his experiences

The earlier episodes and representation of Alexander's life, characterization or storyline wise used to be really great though the constant need to blacken the character was always present but nevertheless, in those days, Alexander was really pictured gloriously. The actor essaying his role is an impeccable performer so all the more helpful to make the character shine. If some of us are still stuck here, it's mostly due to the nostalgia of that time or thanks to Rohit's performance. Currently, they have reduced him at the level of a doormat, to serve his detestable and vicious wife, who hasn't showcased any ounce of affection and care for him even when he came out unconscious after diving into Jhelum. The real Roxanne attempted to take on Alexander's life multiple times but that was before their wedding and I would have prefer to see that anytime. Alas, here they opted for the tongue unleashing after marriage and frankly speaking I don't know what pisses me off more. The portrayal done by the actress or the way Roxanne is characterized here.

Yeah I am all in for knife stabbing...that should have been the scene here not tongue lashing...also now with probability of Barsine returning I feel sorry for Alexander

No serial should be on poras only...but they should have done better storyline for him...I hope king poras will be better than prince poras

I think Wat is pissing Off us is Roxanna acting. At least m not liking her acting. Uske face se pta hi nhi chlta, Wat is she thinking.

Yup uski ek hi expression hai kabse...shivdutt bhi jyada expression deta hai uss USS se to...never mind uske fans ko to Pasand AA rahi hai woh...
