Devsena v/s anusuya

Anusuya is a brave & courageous lady , who definitely know self defence techniques in fighting but anusuya is person who will always prefer idealism over practicality coz she herself is straightforward & kind-hearted so she believe d other person also d same but devsena was much stronger character than anusuya , devsena never compromised with her principles , she knew wrong person is a wrong person be it can be anyone , thou she deeply luved amendra Bahubali but she never played family family with shivgamani coz she knew she will not accept her , there was no point also , plus devsena never forgave ballad Dev coz crime he did was unforgivable & there is no excuse of wrong doing where as shivdutt shri 2 did d unpardonable crime of trying 2 harm d queen & newly born prince but anusuya still chose 2 forgave him , which shivdutt don't deserved .

So I felt there can be no comparison b/w devsena & anusuya can be done coz both r diff from other but brave themselves.

My problem is that they restrain the characters of these otherwise strong women to pave way for heroes to step in ... Anusuya is not a weakly written character either.. She too calls out people when she believes they are wrong... Classic example is Darius .. But God knows why her mind and bravery goes to vacation when it comes to Shivdutt... Like I said in my another post.. Anusuya is not just another bollywood mother in this show... She is the counterpart of Olympia in Bharat... She is to Porus what Olympia is to Alexander... She is supposed to be the king maker, the source of the defender's power... She shouldn't be dependent on Puru for safeguarding her particularly when she knows the skills of fighting and had clearly shown to have an upper hand on Shivdutt... Sadly the ganika and Malay appeared to be much more stronger than her.. Both were more vulnerable than her, both incapable to fight against Shivdutt, yet both stood with their head held high, unafraid in front of the monster... Anusuya should have killed Shivdutt before he harmed one of her subjects... PR ka kya hai woh toh kisi ko bhi apna raja maan lete hain... Today Anusuya gave a very encouraging speech to all the ladies to fight for their right and respect.. Rati was brilliant in the scene... She depicted a fierce queen... But all of this won't make sense unless she overpowers Shivdutt on her own merit and does not wait for Puru to hand over the sword or that arrow in her hands...

There are better ways to pave ways for heroes to become heroic... Mahendra would have killed Bhallaldev for his people ... Puru is fighting for his motherland, he is the one to stop Alexander... How much more credit do they want to put on their heads... They are simply restraining the prowess of these ladies and forcefully not letting their (Anusuya and Devsena ) characters reach their full potential to put that winning batch on the shoulders of the heroes... At least they should have tried to run or escape from the clutches of these villains... Even if they would have not succeeded, I would have proudly considered them as very strong characters... In that case it would have been more emotional when their respective sons would have come to save them... Par yahan toh yeh dono hile tak nahin hain Bhallal aur Shivdutt ki kaid se...

Zoya in tiger Zinda hai was better than these two... At least she didn't need Tiger all the time to carry out her missions... Even when she got kidnapped by Usman, it didn't looked fake and forced... She got trapped in the line of duty.. Toh Tiger ka bachana bhi itna bura nahi laga...😆

Anusuya definitely don't had d quality of king maker in her , as kingmaker is person who bring leaders in power by political influence, bamini & anusuya both r politics free.

Yeah, we can say out of the two, Devsena was stronger.. We do not often see FLs being blunt and honest like Devsena was at least not in out TV shows.. Telling Shivgami " Itni buddhi nahi hai aapko" when she fixed her alliance against her wishes to Bhallaldev was something our TV FLs will take decades to say, it seems.. Sanskaar beech mein jo aa jate hain.. 😆

Only you could pull devasena on TV. All the best Rati Pandey, i am sure you will rock this one. I believe more than members, its creative people who have pointed this comparision...basically due to the starting pics released when anusuya was brought back..her make up was kinda inspired from devsena bahubali 1 look as well . I love them both and i agree with the fact that both the characters were restrained to give credit points to the heroes of the show...because both the characters were capable of killing their enemy as both were warrior princess.
