But Jahan story is overrated to be honest. The truth is quite different ...🥱

Whatever we say here people are liking her acting and their chemistry

She must have been like Mumtaz Mahal, a Persian rose. The present one is a far cry from such a dream girl, alas! But the real Roxana too did the real Alexander no good. She seems to have been a real panauti, manhoos.
You are too harsh on Roxana I think...See the circumstances...also dont forget she was only in her early twenties...hated by literally everyone for being a lower class...

Run and read it once more, my little Manasi. It is a gorgeous post, if I say so myself! Really good stuff. The one on my birthday wasJodha Akbar 123-126: Reductio ad absurdum
https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/jodha-akbar/3843779/jodha-akbar-123-126-reductio-ad-absurdum
It is shorter, but very funny in parts, hilarious in fact.
See, nothing I have done so far for Porus is even a fraction as good as the best of my Jodha Akbar posts. That is because there, with all the failings of the script, I had much better material to work on. Here, the Paurav Rashtra part fatigues me and bores me most of the time, and the Alexander part, which is what I really watch Porus for, is now insufferable.😡 This Alexander makes me grit my teeth so much that my dentist will be delighted!😆Shyamala Aunty

Oh, I am sure they do. The more Alexander stoops low before her, and the more he begs for her to love him, or at least to care for him, the better those folks will like it.It was exactly the same with Jalal and Jodha. This forum is of course miniscule, and those who don't care for Alexander are either not numerous or not vocal, and I doubt if there is a large Roxanne fan club. But in the Jodha Akbar forum, which was HUGE, the Jodhaphiles outnumbered the Jalalphiles 4/5 to 1. And the more he ran after her and the more she snubbed him, the better they liked it.The people you are referring to are similar to the Jodhaphiles. If Roxanne had been loving and supportive towards Alexander, like Laachi is for Puru, their chemistry and their physics would not have been so appealing.😉In any case, the Roxannephiles or the AlexAnaphiles are clearly unable to boost the TRPs, which, I understand, are now at 0.7. For a show of this opulence and (attempted) grandeur, these TRPs are pathetic.Jodha Akbar did not fall below 2.0, and even the poor Chandra Nandini was around 1.6.What this means is that neither Porus nor Alexander, the latter despite Rohit's excellent performance, has been able to capture the imagination of the TV audience. The women in the show, especially Laachi and now Roxanne, don't count. Social media fandom can't boost the TRPs, and thus the ad rates, which in turn determine the financial health of any production.Shyamala Aunty[/QUOTETrp depends on channel also...Sony TV ki trp Nahi Hain utni unfortunately.also main character here is not very well written...his story is not that interesting...Porus ko indiansjante hain so king porus Ka isse koi Lena dena Nahin hai...mostly fictional hai serial...this is the reason why CVS using Alexander name to promote it out of India..because unfortunately Indian legends are not that well known outside...call it failure on Indians part but it's fact...
