Actually, I've read in many sources that the Bactrian tradition was for husband and wife to break a piece or loaf of bread in half and eat that. This was the way they got married. At least here they have sweets.

At this point, I am just grateful they are showing him getting married at all on-screen, warna pata chale off-screen shaadi ho jaaye and humein baad mein pata chale.

I m use 2 this , really marriage was so quick , aaj 2 sirf 3 min diye Gaye Alex Ko rest 4 dedicated to paurav rashtra drama.

Mujhe Abhi taking nhi ho rha shaadi ho bhi gayi, Aisa Laga Alex aaya aur chala gaya

I was right, Olympias was happy to see her son getting married so that he would stay in Bactria for a bit and delay going to Bharat, but of course Alexander immediately said no! 😆

I do hope Roxanne will do something that will make him change his mind, at least for a bit.

Damn it why the rush?

If it were any woman other than Roxanne, I'd feel sorry for the new bride whose husband appears to be more interested in kooch than smooch. 😉
