Ah!!!! The Good old RS memories Mirza and Fatima looked really different from Alex and Barsine😆

In Rohit's case, the only real difference is one of expression. One can easily transpose the natural colour of his eyes as they are now - here he is wearing darker contacts - and the blonde dyed hair.

He is smiling here, and I have seen Alexander smile only twice so far, first when Cleopatra arrives, and the next when he is telling Cleitus how bewakoof he is in complaining about the induction of the Persian soldiers in the Macedonian army.

Barsine looks a lot better as Fatima.

I love how you aptly described the difference between his expressions Aunty.

One thing which I have always admired about him is his skill to gel into his characters who are totally different from each other.

Mirza was all carefree,passionate,jovial who believed in living life to the fullest.Nothing could restrain him except his deep love for Razia ❤️

Alexxy on the other hand is carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders.He is restrained,calculative and thanks to the CVs doesn't express emotions except for the two instances you mentioned.

I am really intrigued to see him experiencing emotions like attraction and love and displaying them albeit not to everyone.

Mirza... Some characters never get old.. ❤️

But still what an irony !! Kya se kya ho gaya... RS mein Mirza ke paas koi sultanat nahi thi... So I remember he was always ready to gift a sultanat to Fatima if he had one, whenever she used to arrange a meeting for him with Razia...😳

Ab uske paas mahal hai, sultanat hai, shauhrat hai toh the then Mirza (present Alexander) , the then Fatima (present barsine) ko ankhen aur thenga dikha raha hai... Ankhiyon se goli maar raha hai aur baaton se uspe sholay barsa raha hai...

Can't believe it. I watched RS but only after reading this thread I realized Alexander and malik are played by the same actor. But i can't remember who Fatima is? I thought Barsine character played Gandhari in Mahabharat and also as one of akbar's wifes or Biramkhan's wife in Ranapratap.
