What is your favorite IF Podcast - VOTE!! - Page 2

We (India Forum's Dev. Team) have done our very best from our side and we want to do even better!!!!! We would like to know out of these 5 shows, which one is your favorite show and why?

Retro Cafe is my fav

Here are some points to help you answer the "why" part:

What is it that you like about that show? The song selection doesn't give me a headache

The little addition of the Retro Contest and B'day Shoutout + dedication was really nice

Why does that show stand out for you? It introduced me to a variety of old songs which I had heard, but never knew who composed them or what the story was behing the composition


Also, feel free to point out something you would like to have changed or improved. Please do not feel that it's rude to point out anything in the show that you do not like. It will only help us make these shows more enjoyable for each and every member here at India Forum's.

Well, I dont like the Retro Mix - i have yet to come across a decent remix of an old song

I like Telly Chaska the best cause i love the indian telly serials and telly chaska is a perfect place for me to be. Also i love the interviews with the telly stars as it makes me know them better. the chaska meter is an icing on the cake. 😃

All are good, but my personal fav is Retro Cafe for sure!!

It was a tough choice between 'Retro cafe' and 'Music and Masti' for me but 'Retro Cafe' won out.

Both programs have great hosts who keep the listener glued to their headsets.

Retro cafe is amazing for me because its a journey of discovery for me each week. I've always just listened to the song and never even paid attention to the singers or musical directors until recently. IF, Retro Cafe and my friends in the 'real' world have all combined to make me more aware of the complexity and subtlety that is weaved in the talent that produced so many songs with which i identify. Every week Retro cafe re-acquaints me with some old favorites and helps me identify some new ones. 😊

Retro Cafe - a good change from the music we hear every day on TV. It's refreshed a lot of memories of old songs. Now I can actually put a name to a song - as in, who composed it.

For me, the No.1 position definitely will be Retro Cafe !!

Reason : Great format, good host and such a great treat to a hungry soul. Never knew so many tid bits behind the making of the songs.

The blast from the past takes me down the wonderful years of our music, reconnects with those fabulous songs scored by the geatest MD's and rendered by some of our best legends, that is loved by all generations. I have loved each and every episode of retro so far. Its a sumptuous treat from the past.

Liked the other shows as well especially if it has anything do do with masti and Aamna Shariff , but Retro takes the cake !!
