Amba tells Rimjhim that Vicky will prove her innocence. Vicky meets the commissioner of police and gives Naina Devi's reference. The commissioner orders to conduct a fresh investigation in the Mahaan murder case. The tests are done in the forensic lab. The lab report proves that the bullet was not shot from Rimjhim's revolver. The pandit says that it is necessary for the wife to sit along with Avinash for the Durga puja. The police inform Sharma family members that Rimjhim is innocent. The police tell Shweta that Durga Shankar has killed Mahaan and show her his confession on the tape. Shweta is shocked. Shweta phones Durga and shouts at him. Rimjhim enters the house on a wheel chair like a vegetable. Shweta is shocked to see her.
