Good Morning :))

Yesterday night, was watching TV and noticed a show for the first time, it must have been going on for a while now but didn't know about it. It's an urdu show and called humsafar I think, the story looked complicated...the guy wasn't bad-looking. 😛

Yup, so after this piece of unimportant information, will go and rush to class. Was going to say will try to think of some new theories on the way, but wont be able to concentrate then 🤣

Yup, that must be Humsafar and the guy is Fawad and yes, sadly he is kind of cute. The show has aired and ended here already, guess they must be repeating it there now or perhaps starts late. The story is not that complicated but the presentation is so.

It was quite a rage when it started here, all the girls or rather phan-girls were crazy about the show particularly Fawad. And I mean super crazy. Even my friends were like Fawad Humsafar, Fawad Humsafar...and I thought I would never hear the end of it.

Okay so can't blame them guess I act the same when it comes to A cough but in my defense I don't do it publicly and I was one where as they were in large numbers. And not only that even my mom who hardly watches TV was a big fan of it. Imagine my surprise at finding her sitting promptly at eight in front of the telly to watch the show. I used to get pretty annoyed at times. 😆

But have to say the show was good in terms of presentation and got the highest TRPs ever in Pakistani serials. That was a record so, happy about it. :P

Okay will shut up with my random never ending stories. Moving on.

i was just reading Karol Bagh's froum & in one of the thread i saw one newbie's -ve comment on sargun's acting. oder ppl didn't say anything bad abt her but that prsn said that she doesn't know acting!! and really i laughed that she/he must b blind!!😆

Lol, I read such a comment on youtube too. Everyone has their own choice and way of seeing things but Sargun is a great actress. Even if I had not liked Phulwa would have still said that she acts really well.

Karol Bagh was Sarguns first show? I never watched any other show of hers but just in Phulwa she had impressed me a lot with her brilliant acting. :)

and yeah i agree wid u that every1 has difft thinking & choices but still sumthing is visible & u can't say bad 2 any1 just bcoz u don't like the actor or show!!

even i don't like sum shows but if acting is gud then i won't say anything bad 2 the actors!!

i know even wen article abt Ajay as lead 4 phulwa came 2-3 ppl also said that hes not gud actor tho even at that time his acting was praised by all!!😊😊

Sargun Mehta a Delhi girl is all set to make her debut on television. The girl plays the character of Neetu Sethi, the second eldest daughter of Sethi family. The bubbly actress shares her heart by talking about her show and being on television.

What is the story line of your show Karol Bagh 12/24?

Actually Karol Bagh 12/24 is all about a family that's live in that area. The story line is family drama in which each and every character has its own point of views, personal ideas and their wishes to be fulfilled in life. They differ in their thinking but still they stays together as a one family.

How did you bagged for the role in the serial?

One of my friends informed me about the auditions for the serial, so I went with them and there we all were given a scripts. We had to act accordingly to the scripts and we did that, it was quite exciting. After the auditions we returned home. One day I received a call from the production house that I was selected. That was one of the best days of my life and I was in high spirit that whole day.

Can you elaborate more on your character?

My character is of a very innocent girl who is cared by all the member of the family. I essay the role of Neetu Sethi, the third child in the family and is very much pampered. I think according to my character everything is perfect that is my family, my house, and my friends. I am very happy with what I have.

Is there anything special in your character?

It has been depicted that I am a very big fan of super Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor that really make me distinct with my character. Another factor is that being I play an innocent girl in the show but is very talkative and pataka by nature.

Now coming out of the character tell us something about your personal life?

I am a graduate from commerce and I was interested in theatres since my college days. I use to participate in plays for my college and also for inter collegiate. And we have won some of the competitions too.

How you are feeling now that the serial is at its verge to be aired on TV?

I'm very much nervous because I am afraid that how viewers will accept me and whether they will like my role or not? I have a mixed feeling at this moment. Really speaking I didn't even recognize myself when the promo of the serial aired on TV. I was continuously laughing after seeing my self on small screen and that to for the first time.

How different is Neetu Sethi from Sargun Mehta?

Neetu is very bubbly, chirpy and the pataka of the Sethi family. She loves shopping, dressing up like a princess and dreaming about her prince, Shahid Kapoor. Sargun is not a pataka, but I do love shopping, and Shahid Kapoor is my love while Shah Rukh Khan is my life.

What is Karol Bagh all about?

It is the story of that area and its people. The show is centred on the Sethi family, and tells the stories of six different characters, which makes it interesting.

Date of birth: September 6, 1988

Interests: I love dancing. My legs move whenever there is music. I know salsa, hip hop, jazz and also learnt classical dance in school.

When did the acting bug bite? It has not yet bitten me and I hope it never bites me.

Favourite actor: Shahid Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan

Favourite actress: Konkana Sen, Kirron Kher and Kajol

Favourite film: Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. I have seen it many times

A role you would love to reprise: In the future, I would like to do a role that is different from Neetu Sethi's.

Did you attend acting classes? No, but I did campus theatre for three years.

Preconceived notion of the TV industry: When it comes to serials, an actress needs to cry loudly, wearing heavy saris and makeup.

If not an actor: I will love to work for an ad agency or in marketing.

True that, even if you want to critize an actors work there are better ways to say it rather than just calling them bad or other demeaning words. Its really not nice. Esp some people start calling actors bad names because of a character.

Yup had read some really bad comments for Ajay which were not really because of his acting but just because of the fact that he was there instead of the fan groups favorite actor. That is wrong again that just because your favorite is not there you call the other bad actor. Don't like him? Then don't watch the show but don't call him bad.

And Ajay is a fab actor, hope he gets his due recognition.

I surprised myself by watching a whole epi when had only been switching channels, so I would not blame your mom, the show kind of looks good, think will watch it next friday too😛

Actually it was airing on local tv and they usually give serials which have ended about a year or two in the country of origin so I guess it must have started late. In the epi I watched, he was getting married to a girl whom his dad chose to and there was another girl, Sarah I think who attempted suicide. So curious to know what happens next as in the credits they show him with both girls (btw he looks great in glasses..cough😛)

Used to watch Pakistani shows a lot when was little, but was sometimes disappointed with the actors (my little mind seeing looks only😛), the girls used to be so beautiful and the guys just so and sometimes, they would look so much older than the girl.

There was one I loved. The girl was called Zoya and her mom was like the ultimate vilain, but cant remember the name, too long back. Bed memory😆

@anu i agree that at that time most of the phulwa viewers were saying bad things 2 Ajay bcoz they want Angad back as abhay!! but i doubt that angad wud'd been suitable 4 abhay & shatru role. tho i think Angad is quite a gud actor & had done v.gud job as shankar👏👏 but playing shatru & abhay can only b done by an actor like Ajay.👏👏⭐️⭐️⭐️

but after watching Ajay as shatru & abhay many of shankar fans bcame abhay fans also!!😆😆tho sum were/r still biased but as theres saying "u take horse 2 the water but can't make it drink"!!😆

Btw i was also seeing old TB articles & in one of the article i read abt mishal raheja & Mahi vij getting prominent actor award @ Lions Award & i thot that Ajay & Sargun r so talented & versatile but they don't get such awards as i don't think mishal is better actor than Ajay.i'd watched both of them in Love Story & i liked Ajay's acting more than Mishal's tho Mishal is also gud. & tho now i don't consider these awards as sum achievement bcoz 2day awards r given either seeing an actor's/ckts popularity or r bought by PH/Channel/actors etc.🤢🤢
