Thakur and gang come to the hospital asking for Phulwa and doctor asks if he means Mrs Abhay Rai Singh. Thakur pretends to be really worried but gets a shock when the doctor says that she is absolutely fine because Abhay brought her in on time. Neither buaji nor Thakur understand what is happening. As they walk towards the ICU to see her, an old woman on a wheelchair (patient) wonders how come a sinner like Thakur is still alive.
As Thakur opens the door, buaji asks him what is wrong and all of them are shocked to see Abhay sleeping next to Phulwa holding her hand. Kulbushan and buaji take the opportunity to instigate him against Abhay. She tells him the day a man gets married, he becomes loyal to his wife only. Once the two of them together, it will be the end of Thakur. Behind them, the old woman is wondering who the Thakur came to see.
Back at home, the Thakurayn and dadiji pray for Phulwa's well-being. Dadiji wonders how the accident happens and the Thakurayn remembers Thakur talking about removing the gas pipe. As she cries at dadi's feet, she asks if Thakurayn if she is sad that her older son's killer did not die or happy that her younger son's wife is alive. She laments about Thakurayn losing her voice who remembers Thakur saying Devpur hatyakand. Dadi prays for no more sorrow and Thakurayn blows the shankh. Dadi considers this a sign of her support for Phulwa.
At the hospital, Phulwa wakes up to see Abhay sleeping holding her hand (ORP starts playing). She tries to remove her hand but Abhay has a tight grasp on it:D The doctor enters and explains to her that Abhay brought her here and the reason why she's out of danger. He has not eaten or drunk since night before and that she's lucky to have such a husband. Abhay wakes up and holds onto Phulwa's hand a little while longer while she tries to pull it away. He asks the doctor if she's fine and tells Phulwa's she's out of danger. She thanks him but he says no need and leaves saying he'll be outside if she needs him.
The old woman asks the doctor if the person admitted is from Thakur Daroga's family. When doctor says it is Thakur's bahu, she says to herself it is time to take badla for Devpur hatyakand. (Sorry I didn't really get the line before.)
Abhay returns home and finds Thakur packing luggage. When he asks what has happened, Thakur talks to a secretary on the phone to inform the CM that he is leaving politics for good to go on a sanyaas. Abhay asks why the sanyaas and the Thakur tells the rest of the family to forgive him if he has done any mistake. Abhay asks Thakur directly again and Thakur laments how his power has diminished since the time he saw him holding his enemy's (Phulwa) hand.
In the hospital, dadi tells Phulwa there is hope as Abhay is slowly supporting her and he was there when she needed him.
At home, Thakur asks why Abhay needed to hold her hand. He sprinkles holy water onto himself and says that it cannot purify the soul. He pretends to have chest pain and pushes Abhay away when he tries to help, claiming he will not touch the hand that held onto the hand that killed his son and asks Abhay how he forgot that.
In the hospital, Phulwa tells dadi how she has not forgotten the sorrow and humiliation that Abhay himself brought to her and her kabiley. Dadi tells her it was not Abhay but the evil inside of him. When she removes the evil she will notice the good in him.
Precap - Abhay smashes his hand into a vase and cuts it, telling the Thakur he has punished the hand that had held Phulwa's. Thakur tells buaji he will slowly poison him against Phulwa again.
