DE-STRESS MANTRA
Im a compulsive reader

.... and am usually reading in between shots on the sets,says television actress Shweta Kawaatra

My personal de-stress mantra is...

doing yoga,talking to my husband and playing with my dog Mowgli,a lhasa apso.I do Iyengar yoga,three to four times a week for about an hour.It includes doing weights and cardio activity as well.Sometimes when I feel bored,I go for spin cycling.Sometimes,I head to the spa for a good body and neck massage.

In my leisure time...

I read,in fact Id say Im a compulsive reader.When Im shooting,Im usually reading in between shots.I like reading philosophical books.Currently Im reading Buddha In Daily Life.I love watching movies in theatre armed with popcorn,samosas and cola.Also,I love to spend time with my friends by either calling them over to my place or I head to theirs.

A cook or a foodie

Im a cook.I love to cook for my husband and the fact that he loves my food,is a big motivation for me to always try out new recipes.I mostly cooking nonvegetarian for Manavs sake.However,on Sundays,I dont like to cook and just relax.So we head out for a brunch and dinner.

My hobbies are...

I used to paint a lot earlier but because of my hectic schedule,I dont get the time for it.Travelling is another hobby of mine.Once every six months,Manav and I,go for a vacation abroad.I think its very important for actors to take a vacation regularly to unwind.

Chilling at home or a party animal

When I was much younger,I used to be a party animal and would go partying every night.But now I have become more of a home person.Now I attend parties because of work.I prefer attending home parties where I enjoy conversations with people rather than go to a disco.

Tips to de-stress ...

Spend as much time with your loved ones.Once in a while,get a good body massage at a spa.Also,If one is a dog-lover,I recommend that they get one.
