In my humble opinion-
- the TRPs that the show acheived from the beginning and the ovewhelming positive response they received for SugVi made them prolong the time allocated to their relationship so that they became the established jodi (I dont think they expected SugVi to be accepted because of the age difference but thats what you call the law of unintended consequences)
- bring back dead wife and later dead mother, brother and sister in law (this is a Hindu family. Hindu's cremate their dead so what happened here?)
- they rewrote TVS's character. A mans who says "Trust is the backbone of any relationship" is not going to do exactly the opposite. While his first reaction may have been to hide the truth, the pragmatic side of him would have known that he was in a better position if he told Sugni himself in a controlled way (he would have gained her respect and he may have been able to convince her about divorce)
When audiance still did not accept Adini they rewrote his character again so he believed his wife who had successfully pretended to be mentally ill for months????? As I said at the time he was stabbed in his abdomen, his brain was not labotomised.
- there was no need for Sugni's sardhakai or wedding at gun point or her one night stand. She had alternatives
- there was no need for Adi to fill Sugni's maaga or maary her. All Adi needed to do was explain to MS and let her deal with TVS.
- the 3 sickest thing they did were
* try convince us that because Amu was from the "city" and modern and had been in a long term relationship with Adi it was OK to dump her for the vertuious Sugni. A girl who jumps into a relationship from one man to another in the same family is vertious verus a girl who has stayed faithful to one man even when he dumped her - go figure
* show Adi lusting after Sugni while she sat in front of him crying her heart out that she has had to push away the man she loves the most in the world. When you step back and look at it Adi behaved more like a typical Thakur than TVS. He was the one who thought I cannot be with one woman (Sugni) I will make do with the other (Amu). Personally I think Adi always deep down knew that Sugni in anger had made a mistake and if she could she would undo her actions and walk away. Thats why there was the constant maaga filling and repeating of the vows and promises to always be with the each other. It was like he wanted to keep reminding Sugni that she was committed to him!!!!
* use to God to endorse actions which any idiot could see where immoral/unnecessary.
