Funny, we have been pleading begging harping around here the get Reva and Vickram divorced , when it was clear their was no love between the two... they went so far as to have the papers drawn up, but pulled the smiles out of our faces when Sugni tore up the papers. ( Blatantly telling us the audience Ohh we herd you but no ...we not doing that)The show sank into a hole and the audience was ignored, fed up of the crappy story most opted to leave.
Who wants to see a MaMa and Bhanja fighting over the same girl? A girl that shared very strong feelings with the MAMA at the beginning of the show???
Now the show is on it's last leg and guess what all of a sudden REVA is the one to bring up divorce..hahaha... Had they taken that move months ago...the show would have still be going strong.
Some times things don't go as you want it to, and that was a clear case in this story...but most times people adapt to change and make adjustments for the better.
Had they left Vickram and Sugni together, and Kept Amrita and Adi together ...they would have had a rocking story, as Amrita and Sugni were good friends and both were strong women. They had so many issues to deal with ...the bedia women's plight, Champa being forced unwillingly to become a bedni, Kuhu dealing with an Abusive husband...these could have been some very hard hitting tracks had it been dealt with properly , the show would have been a success...because a big pull to this show was the different concept of it!!!
Instead it was turned into a crazy love story that was unacceptable. To late now ...but I hope that the production house and creative heads and channel see that what could have been a good thing was ruined in the name of senseless drama and TRP's.
It's a real shame that the cast of the show are now out of work, with a talented line of actors and actresses they had in this show. Hats off to Gulki Joshi, Varun Badola, Jiya Bhanju the actors who played, HUKUM, NAGANIYA, for sticking to it until the end. !
