Finally got some time today and watched this show what is really happening to Sugni why is she not using her mind.

She knows they are thakur and can't fight them w/o brain but fighting like that during a ceremony going on is really not the mark of a respectful woman.

Adi should have slapped her at the beginning to stop her.

Yeah, Sugni is an immature,foolhardy,impulsive girl. This is proved right from the day when she tried to be recklessly bold with Jwala Thakur by "pardoning" him. This has been proved umpteen times later. Basically her age ( she is about 19 ) may justify this foolhardiness. She is too naive and straightforward and I do not find her manipulative which is required in order to live in this merciless world. Moreover Gulabiya seems to have guarded her fiercely from the harsh realities of life and Sugni had been just in her own world of marrying a prince charming and building her own castles in the air. She does not think twice and just jumps into something. This act of hers not only puts her in danger but the others around her too.She is not even practical. I understand that she always has honest intentions for others but the way she puts them in actions just ends up in antagonizing the people.

Well she had herself admitted one day " hum achchha karna chaahte hain aur ho kuchh aur jaata hai. "

I do have empathy for her but she should at least consult with someone else before taking the blind plunge herself.

I think Sugni's problem is she was bought up in a household where women (namely G) make decisions and because of the harshness of their lives everything is direct and blunt.

She has married into a different type of family and a different caste whose ways of doing things are very different. Under normal circumstances the husband and the family guide the new person so they learn the ways (right or wrong) of the family that you marry into.

Because of the circumstances of her marriage (Please lets leave TVS-Sugni-Adi triangle out of this discussion) this is not happening so she has reverted back to what she saw growing up.

Situation was different too. The point of her doing it was to stop the engagement because she knew that he is not the right person.

well I said b4 .. sugni will bring more shame and problems into champa's life ... no one is going to trust her no one is going to believe her words she came with no proofs and she knows they have powers to shut mouths but again she did it she bring more problems into champa's life
did she really think they are going to believe her ?

Ronit - The problem is "she never thinks through a situation" she jumps into actions and conclusions very quickly.I agree with Payal, it has a lot to do with the upbringing and the familial customs and traditions where she was born and brought up being so different with her current family.

yeah, sugni is suppose to be mannipulative and cunning. so say's all the anti sugni forums members.

but would a manipulative and cunning person get into trouble so many times. sugni is blamed for Kuhu actions. when it is actually Kuhu cunningness that makes sugni the scrapegoat, Kuhu used sugni to go meet DigV. and Sugni nieveness that she didnt for one minute suspect that Kuhu was up to something. when just a day back Kuhu was rude to her.

Reva tries to kill vikram but sugni gets blamed for it. and she is the one who saved him. sugni is a simpleton, with lots of courage. she needs to be in a fairy tale not the real world. she knows people are bad and evil, but she does not know how to tackle them.

when vikram made that indecent proposal to her she should have gone and told aditya. but she know that Adity would kill vikram or at least beat him up. and to avoide making a rift bigger between Adi and Vik she kept quite hoping for the right time to speak up.

even in this champa matter, sugni bond with champa and her grief at what happened to her friend. made sughi jump in fighting without a thought of what people will think of her. all she feels that and injustic has happened and she wants to stop another one from happening.

sugni task is going to he very tough, and extremely difficult, becaues no one cares what she has to say. even if it is the truth. and it seems that even Aditya has taken away his support of sugni. now sugni is all alone.

but no matter one day the truth will come out and the entire thakur family will be the one appologising to sugni.

Thanks a lots to all of you I do agree with you all.

But I must say or better add any girl whenever she get married she tries to accept and apply the few changes which happened in her life mainly the way of living of the in laws,I know it is very difficult but in some ways the girl tries to accept the changes.Here Sugni madam though being called Bedni repeatedly never tried to change she's never hurt that's why she keeps on commiting errors,she keeps on intruding in the family where's not accepted.

Any girl would have felt something the way Adi behaves with her,but she continues to live in her own world,she should have once asked adi if he decided to get marry afterwhile as she thinks he's a friend and is helping her so for how long...

Gulabiya never takes any prompt decision and just jump or run w/o thinking,I'll add I was shocked in the episode where she talked rudely with Gulabiya and left home with TVS.

I jus think if you cannot be a good daughter you'll never be a good wife.my POV.

Sugni should know that no one would believe her. She should have think it through when she realised that Champa was missing about what needs to be done, After all, it was only the engagement and not the wedding.

Yes I want her to use her mind how to expose the culprit and to run shouting he raped champa or whatsoever

Who'll believe her??

she does not think about it??

She must also know how to blackmail someone when needed.
