Dear Mouni,
Why all this arguing? It is a Vikram AT thread!
This is second one in one day. Anyway, this is my last post about this issue, as I do not have time or energy to waste it on negativity on the Vikram AT. If you wish to say something personal or disagree/ reconcile, please in future PM me as I will not post more about this issue here.

Dear Istila, it seems that you've got me all wrong ...
I do understand, and my post was clear. It is a very friendly one, full of famous quotes (more than my own opinions), but you have misjudged it and me.

Neither was mine. Also, I did not indicate anywhere, that your post was to hurt me or anyone.

I know the rights that each & everyone holds here to put their heart-felt opinions & honestly, I appreciate that.
Where did I say that you do not know the rights of everyone or that you do not appreciate heartfelt honest opinions? If you are insinuating that I am not appreciating these rights then yes, I do equally as you, understand these rights.

And for the same reason, I request you not to accuse anyone here
Please stop the scandalous presumption that I am accusing you or others or other actors.

How am I impartial and to which particular character? As you have the right to post your POV here, don't I?

It's entirely the decision of the concerned person whom to support or not...
When did I state to you that it's 'not' anyone's decision whom to support? Therefore please stop accusing me.

Aren't we all here talking about an imaginary character only ?
I do not know what you are referring to.

So why to discuss about "Who knows whose true character" ?????
I do not understand what you mean.

Remember, all our love for Vikram as a protagonist is not only for the characterization, but also for the excellent "execution"...And this has been made possible because of Varun only...He has given words to the decency, values & virtues of Vikram..
Hold on dear. When you say 'ALL our LOVE" This is your POV, you are welcome to your views. Please do not assume my beliefs. LOVE & EXCELLENT are very strong words for me to use.
We usually don't use the word 'excellent' often here in UK, because it is classed as being absolutely perfect. I do not believe anyone is faultless or perfect except God. I have not made my feelings known literally about any character or actor. IMHO, Virtues, Values are MEANINGLESS if they are not valued on stage and if 'Vikram' knowing the character he is, throws it all away by becoming an antagonist. This is my POV.

So why don't we now accept Vikram with some grey sheds (under such circumstances for him)???
Some people like some actors with a negative shade, in acting, others with a positive shade. When one paints a picture one can't force everyone to see it only one way. Some like one painting others another one, because God made us all different, with different thoughts & beliefs & life experiences.

...As you have said," Beauty lies in the eyes of beholder"...I know, it's not easy to see the character close to your heart to turn into a negative one...But it's a show after all & not the reality...So please take the way it is intended & enjoy...
Agreed. This is your POV, and from you other statement you stated:
It's surprising to see how the characters have been changed completely after that "Reva" saga...it's now really difficult to find who is what ! & what he/she is running after! Everything seems to has been messed up & the full credit goes to our dear CVs to ruin everything...
This comment of yours is more in line with my thoughts, I agree.
The CV's need to grow up and take constructive criticism from here as a medication pill. I have already expressed my views about the character turning negative in the frustrations thread and to Varun here.

The "brilliant" about the latter is not Vikram here, it's for VARUN AS AN ACTOR...
I made a light humour about it and typed ;) did you not notice?
Actually you said here:

An actor/actress is only considered to be "Brilliant" when he/she accommodates himself/herself with the changeover of his/her onscreen character as well,
Agreed. This is what I was referring to.

rather sharpens it...Otherwise there will be no existence of Amrish Puri, Amzad Khan, Pran, Prem Chopra etc ... And here we aren't talking about anyone(real)'s Physique or Character...We are talking about an imaginary/ ONSCREEN guy ...One should first understand the topic
If Varun Badola wishes to be an antagonist, it is entirely up to him and as I said before, so be it! However, you have misunderstood my views. IMHO, Varun, the actor, is not Amjad Khan or the others. As an example only, Amjad khan did not start as the main lead in Sholay and then turned negative. Imagine Amitabh going negative in Sholay, what would be left of the show? I already explained this elsewhere in the frustrations thread, so will not repeat it here.

While knowing full well I said to you why I am not watching. I request you please respect other peoples choices.

...I've just suggested that the concerned actors shouldn't leave it...and my above mentioned suggestion is just because of the betterment of the show, nothing else...
About asking Varun to leave. As I said it was only a passing suggestion. I was referring to my initial post to Varun some time ago here about complimenting his great script writing skills in ACPM and as only a suggestion I put that forward for a second career choice to save his reputation from the humiliation of playing a lower role of an antagonist in PSH. When I first came here I was under the impression Varun was forced a negative role due to his age, looks etc, until he responded that he wanted it. This is why I said it's worth reading the posts in context before passing such presumptions.

And you've beautifully quoted the line "The Fragrance of the flowers only spreads only in the direction of the wind. But goodness of a person spreads in all direction."...I agree.
Thank you, this quote & others are in the Varun & Friends thread.

We are all adults with intelligence. You obviously do not know me well enough to pass these judgements.
I was discussing a different topic and again, it's better if one understands posts in context before judging others. I was referring to ETHICAL & moral standards of the whole show & how this may affect the reputation of the actors if a Virtuous character like Vikram, is behaving immorally or as an antagonist! This does not happen in reality that decent, virtuous people suddenly change their shades to such far extremes, as I am consciously aware (as they do so often in Indian TV Serials). Vikram is mature and understanding, his character has already formed. He has dealt with enemies, hardships and isolation when everyone is against him, his inner resolve & strength is already well-developed. Again, my POV.
My views about Vikram & Varun are between me and Varun, not anyone else. We are all mature adults. Should he disagree he can PM me any time to let this be known and I will remove any post he finds offensive. As a well wisher, I do not wish anything but good for him & his family.
However, I do have the rights to criticise actors as I have every human right to express my honest views, if that needs to be the case (but not in this thread). I do not take anyone's futile threats. I do not 'hero' worship, or worship actors. This is not saying that I will attack, debase or ridicule actors or that I am suggesting others are worshipping them. I am stating that I am not afraid of standing for the truth, giving my personal opinions on actors & acting or their characters, whether positive or negative, if & when necessary. I am an adult & am fully aware of, all our rights.
These are my personal beliefs & personal opinions, so let's be more mature while online (acting our age) as there is absolutely no reason for you to take offence over my personal views, beliefs or opinions.
Best Wishes
Istila
