Viji a very good post and I like your analysis reasoning as well as the title of your thread. In fact from the past few days it has been happening and Sugni is in fact placing TVS above her mother especially from the time he has publicly declared that he will marry her.she is refusing to see the problems and feels everything is rosy TVS has completely swept her with his charm and putting her above all his family she is following his example at her home and he is also telling her whenever occasion arises not to listen to anyone and follow her love😉 which she seems to be doing even if something very wrong about him is revealed I fear she will not leave him. In true love a person is able to see his or her lover's flaws but is willing to accept them. Sugini is not being able to see TVS'S flaws and is blaming her mother instead.She should listen to her mother and I would never blame Gulabiya for standing up to Jijii. Sugini is heading for a blow

I do think Gulabiya was still the same where Jwala Thakur is concerned, maybe she still is, any one remember her reaction when they were about to remove the mangal Sutra? She was visibly upset, and till today she wears it I would say proudly, so I would say she still has feelings for him!
The difference I always found with Sugni, is although she listens to Vickram, she also takes her mothers view into consideration, and she always asks him about it, even if she takes a while, like the night she asked if "there love will change into marriage" and off course he knows what to say to appease her and she takes whatever he says happily to heart!
Now with Friday's episode, she know very well that JiJI dislikes her, that was nothing new, and because she is witness to the discord between brother and sister where she is concerned and she even told him that., they should end the relationship, (which he became a little crazy at that thought) she know how much family means to him. I think she was going to "take one for the team" and swallow the insult just for His sake. I understand where she is coming from.
Both mother and daughter were right in their stance that was just a lose- lose situation.
Love makes us do crazy things and it is sometimes left to those outside the bubble to snap us out of it!
