All the articles shared are old and usually this channel makes lot of changes on its way what was initially told may not happen thats why I want to see how the story is progressing and what they will show based on TRPs and audience reaction

I don't know if you still remember it was said after two weeks of Vikram entry his wife also will be shown, the article with the actress picture playing his wife also was out but unfortunately it has been more than 2 weeks Vikram is in the show and his wife has not arrived yet.
HERE IS THE ARTICLE:
But I'm happy if they have changed their idea because positive characters are also needed in a show.
If his wife land in the show obviously he'll turn negative(My POV)

Zee TV's new prime time offering Phir Subah Hogi, produced by Rajesh Chaddha and Saurabh Srivastava's Panglosean Entertainment, after creating lot of buzz around for its hard hitting subject line has finally hit the TV screens.

It has already bagged the limelight for bringing back some of the old champions of TV world namely, Narayani Shastri and Varun Vadola. And now we have heard that Jaya Binju Tyagi is also set to enter the show. Last seen in Kesariya Balam Aavo Hamare Des on Sahara One, she has been signed to play the role of Varun Badola's wife, Thakurain.

Her character will be positive but as the plot will progress it will see some interesting changes. Her husband will love her a lot and she will be unaware of the Thakur's misdeeds. She will make an entry during the ninth episode and she will commence shooting soon.

Talking of her entry, she said, "It's a very interesting role having a surprise element to it. The production house is also very good. I just hope that viewers like my role".

Let us see how powerful her role happens to be!

But how could they have changed the storyline of Vikram when we saw within his first two or three episodes what he thought of the Rai dance and Sardakai custom? I don't mean that they are not tweaking or changing the story. But from pretty much the beginning we saw that he doesn't believe in the Sardakai tradition.

I guess we could take his look when she said she was a Bedni, and no Thakur has gotten her till now to be ambiguous. Especially because of what he said, how do you know I'm not a big, bad Thakur. But he in no way gave any menacing hint of expression.

And of course within a handful of episodes, we ourselves were wondering how in the world Vikram could be a philanderer.

Then there are VB's own interviews where he states that Vikram doesn't believe in Sardakai and that he is forced to do the Sardakai, only to fall in love with her later.

So again, that doesn't match with the 'philandering' characterization.

Besides, if I remember my mythologies, Raavan didn't exactly abduct Sita because he lusted after her, it was more revenge against Rama for his sister Surpnakha, it was a political move. So if they are going that route, the sardhakai could be part of his fight with Jwala Singh, although Jwala hardly qualifies as a caring father, if he punishes Sugni and Vikram saves her that would undermine his authority. But would Vikram do the sardhakai only to challenge Jwala or would his friendship with Sugni somehow come into the picture? Then again, maybe I'm reading too much into this whole Raavan thing, maybe it was just an example used by Varun?

I do agree that it would be a huge mistake to pitch Aditya as Ram (or any kind of saviour) in this story. The actor is just not upto par. If they want to make Vikram grey I don't have so much of a problem with it, as long as it is consistent with his character so far (e.g. that philanderer part doesn't seem to gel, but he could be a married man who does the sardhakai out of some compulsion, and then feels attracted towards Sugni when Sugni herself is leaning in some other direction). But please, please either don't give Aditya too much prominence or change the actor. It will be a pain to watch otherwise.

I think the Raavan shades would actually be interesting provided they show him in a grey manner...an out and out negative womanizing character would be a total 180 from what they've shown so far of the character.

Vikram is a very clever man...he quoted Chanakya to Jwala Thakur just a few days back and many times he makes mention of winning over the hearts of the ppl in order to be a good ruler/leader...I found these lines to be significant in giving an insight into Vikram as a character...so I do foresee him maybe using Sugni as a pawn in his political fights with Jwala Thakur but this womanizing thing just doesn't fit😕

I wouldn't really say it's ambiguous...well maybe ambiguous in that it doesn't imply an out and out "romantic" or "lechy" look...I just don't see THAT kind of look in his eyes at that point...it wasn't there in the previous scene when he looked at Sugni's pics on the laptop either...

The promo actually is in tune with the softness of their relationship at this point...and the fact that Vikram actually says that he won't let her fall is also significant in some ways I feel...how would that fit into a "womanizer" characteristic?

They've really confused us...*sigh*😆

I in no way think he's a philanderer. I do think it's possible that he has some kind of political game going on in his mind. The way a few people described in the previous posts. After all as he said, win hearts and minds, you have power over the people.

I also don't think that look is romantic, lecherous or in anyway his planning on wooing her or 'pretend wooing her.'

I don't think within the scene itself it's anything. He is probably just giving her his hand. However, i think the way it is framed might be hinting that this will turn into some "dangerous game." And I don't mean that term in a bad way at all. Just that their relationship is not going to remain untainted. There will be other aspects that will come in soon enough.

Sugni is being lured into playing with fire. I don't mean he's luring her right now. But I mean that's what it might be hinting to the audience. Note, I don't think playing with fire is necessarily a bad thing. 😆 Just that it's not going to be a fairy-tale story (or romance).

Oh I do understand what you mean about the dangerous tone...his expressions are not that easy to read...there is a lot going on under the surface.

And honestly I don't think there is an expectation of a 'fairy tale romance' from anyone here anyways...or even a typical romance in any way.

All I personally ask for is that this character not be made out and out negative or evil for the sake of whatever "twist" they want...a GREY character would be understandable and leave scope for a lot of layers in the story...but just an out and out LECHER or a WOMANIZER would kill all the interesting aspects to this character.

Cuz yes so far he's shown that he is a powerful and clever guy who is deffo observing everything and maybe making some kind of plan in his head too...but I see the issue being more related to Jwala Thakur primarily than him lusting after Sugni and hence luring her over in some way by "pretending" to be nice...

All of the power play and the games being played will primarily be a war b/w the Thakurs...Sugni might get caught in the crossfire as far as I can see but I don't see Vikram attempting to "lure" her over at THIS point.

But since we've got so many articles floating around since ages I guess we have to braced for the worst anyways...lol

^^ Agreed completely.

And oh, I didn't mean people here were expecting such a fairy-tale romance. I know no one wants a fairy-tale romance. We've all said that from the beginning. 😆
