Word on the class of these actors...in general we miss that on TV...I gave the show a try mainly for Narayani and Varun but I've been pleasantly surprised by the cast in general especially the lead girl Gulki Joshi as well.

I actually forgot that this show was coming up😳 and just finished watching the 1st week on-line. I am loving this show so far. I liked the first epi but I have to agree that I really got hooked with the last line of epi 2 by Sugni too! What courage she has, love that she doesn't cower and is capable of speaking her mind. Even at the beginning of epi 3 she said the truth even though she knew it would anger her mom more when they got back home. I am also really happy with the pace of this show. It's moving along very nicely. Can't wait to see the main lead appearance.

Hey thanks! Yep I think that's the line that probably hooked everyone...made me sit up in my seat and clap for this girl. I'm not sure what the male lead will be like honestly cuz right now I'm loving the current set of characters too much...I hope it's not just a glamorized love story for the heck of it.

After a long time found a show worth watching. Actor Narayani and Varun are mind blowing.

Decide to watch the show from the moment I know about Varun being casted for the show. Nowadays we don's get to see such fine actors in the current shows.

Female lead is also very good and has become a fan of her. How she delivers her dialogues, body language was fab. She looks fresh and apt for the character.

Overall all the actors including the actor who plays Thakur and Sugni's family members all are very impressive.

About Thakur Vikram singh I don't think he is negative. From the promos it was shown he wants Sugni, but it might be to help her or because of the political rivalry between the other thakur (who is Sugni's father).

I agree...I don't think he'll be negative...he seems more of a grey character...I think he'll make Sugni his bedni for maybe political reasons as you said but he won't mistreat her like the other Thakurs do and that is what will set that relationship apart.

LOL Mash, sorry to burst your bubble but MR or NB weren't being considered for Varun's role, sweetheart😛😆...they were being considered for the role that the lead guy is playing...that Anuj Sachdeva...and frankly so far his character sketch does not sound like much to me...Varun's character looks far more interesting...I hope he continues to get prominence in the story.

Main toh aisehi bol rahi thi...khair I'm happy enough with Varun as well. It has been years since I last saw him in something decent.

Arey I read that...I think I was half appalled at this custom, half amazed at the girl to notice anything but the characters and story...I'm trying to get the picture of the sets in my mind...I'm not really sure...will watch some scenes again...then I'll tell you about it..

Lol!! I did catch the Gulaal reference! I just didn't remember the set completely to comment either way on it.. 😳😆 Doobara dekh k confirm karongi. Abhi toh we need to head out somewhere toh ab shaam mein aa k hi itmenaan sey comment karongi about my first impressions for the show.

So far I really do find Varun's character the most unique of all. I can't really cast him in any particular mold.. He's a mix of several different personalities and not all of them GOOD. He will be such an interesting character to get to know, if all things are kept right.

And Narayani's character is another one on the show that is quite layered like you said.. At first she comes off as a typical resigned woman.. But the more you get to know her, the more you realize k there is SOMEONE under all that bedni facade, someone who had aspirations, expectations and an immense strength that goes unnoticed by those not looking for it.

But before I turn this into my rant, I should head out. Baki to be continued.. 😆

Just got a first glimpse of this show .. Liking it so far. Sugni seems to be a very brave and independent girl. Like the actress who plays this role. Very interesting story as well with plenty of negative characters. Sugni's half bro , actor Ankit Arora played Lakshman in Ramayan with Gurmeet as Ram. He suits the negative role very well and he is a good actor. I don't know how major his role will be.

I loved sugni character and particularly loved that scene where she told her father that she forgave him as well. Ahh I was clapping for her. Also I really like Sugni and her mom Gulabo, gulabia scene.

Is the actress that plays the character new? I can't believe this she was great, has a great screen presence.

The other characters are great as well and ofcourse Varun and Naryani are great as always.

Here's hoping the show continues like this and doesn't become all glamorized and glorified.

The actress seems new but I read someone saying that she was in Crime Patrol before this...this does seem to be her first lead role though...yeah she has fab screen presence and holds her own in front of established actors like Narayani and Varun.

I'll try to find a pic if I can but I was talking of the exterior of the haveli where Gulabiya was dancing in the last scene of Friday's epi...it's the same set as this one from Gulaal...

I find Varun's to be the most interesting along with Sugni's right now...Varun will likely be a grey character...a mix of several personalities like you said...but it's going to be a POWERFUL character regardless and he generates intrigue about what role he will play in the story...I hope his character is developed well aage jaake.

I want to see Narayani coming into her own too...I found those dialogues of hers ominously interesting in the scene from Friday when she tells Sugni that she has much yet to learn about these Thakurs.

😆 No I didn't give up on Bones had exams hence I just caught up to it few days back.
Oh was she hmm.. But ya she is great infront of veteran actors.
