What's really interesting is that many of us on the forum could see all of this through her behavior, and found her indifference to him very justifiable. For an audience member who likes suggestion, and to read between the lines, present Meher's actions were enough to get this across, but I think the wider audience needed this literal depiction of her devoted love and his promises to fully understand where her coldness towards him was coming from.
As long as they stick to their story, but making parts of it more literal to be accessible, I am good with it. It just affirms what I had already read into the character, and that is an awesome feeling as well😊
