Why would Gurmeet do a show like Badtameez Dil? Makes no sense!

I'm hoping that the news of GC entering is rubbish!
But it makes no sense to me why GC would do a role on Badtameez Dil? He's so popular and has even done a movie! Why would he accept a cameo role on a show like Badtameez Dil that's doing average on TRPs and he's not even going to be the lead! 🤢

Exactly ma point of view...gurmeet is way too popular for show like badtameez dil...he has 2 movies in his kitty...he confirmed it lately..dere were rumors he is coming on swadhinta named show...dey even saud he has shot 4 d show...bt it was fake..like dis news...and dis news I dnt which source it is...bt jst came 4m one publisher...india forums and all didnt confirm it...show of his news swadhintaa was all over...dis is to all fans of badtameez dill...may ua show touch heights...bt sme of u fans r degrading gurmeet on twitter and saying he shouldnt enter as he is a loser..he is defenitely not a loser...every 1 knows...so please try to respect...no hard feelings 4 any one..nd may be cvs may have roped hm 4 4 to 5 episodes to spice up d trp

Ya and there is no source mentioned by that publisher either. Nor do I see anything else like that mentioned anywhere. The main couple of this show is Abeer and Meher! CVs know by bringing GC they will have to make Meher & Gurmeet the lead pair - which is NOT what this show is about!

If gurmeet does a show, it will be known in his name only..
Remember, even punar vivah become popular just because of his name.. When he came to jhalak and nach, the main attraction was he being in the show..
If the CVs had plan to bring GUru, they would have done this in early stage itself..
It will surely bring his fans to get glued to the show..
But never as a supporting entry...

when I said show like BD, I meant - Gurmeet would want only lead roles or a main role , the only main roles in this show are Abeer and Meher. Nissar is also a parallel lead. There is no way GC would do a show that already has introduced it's main characters and already has developed a storyline for the main couple.
