There are two reasons why I started to watch this show
The first reason is mehers BUA
Her bua did a show where she was called Meher and I loved that show

The second reason is the divorce topic, I always hear that it's hard for a woman to live a "normal" life after her divorce in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh
My parents are divorced and well I live in Germany and have never faced problems because of my parents divorce but I was curious how the show would potray a divorced woman

I have to say I am pleasently suprised, I love the character Meher and of course her Bua
Meher and Bua are both strong independant women

This show is really good and I am happy that it actually has a story which is so rare on indian tv
It's sad because a lot of shows have great actors but the story is so unrealistic that I either want to hit myself or the characters on TV

This show makes me happy

Nice thread !

I have been with IF since a long time but wasn't regular after Rang Badalti Odhani which was the only show that I watched regularly and connected with it.

I haven't been watching much on tv, coz I am not happy at the way they present characters so unrealistically.

I was flipping channels one fine day with tv muted. I was free, internet was down and I was getting pretty bored. I went back and forth the channels for a couple of times, not knowing what to watch, when I happen to see a few scenes from BD. I instantly loved Asmita ! I believe that Indian audience and women at large deserve some respect and it's high time they begin showing women as career oriented, dignified, composed, smart, intelligent, outgoing, modern and having some self esteem.
Asmita is the primary reason why I was hooked to the show. She is completely different from the women we see on tv. She is real. She is what a modern woman is !

Having said that, story backed shows are always a treat to watch. The backstory, divorce, intriguing characters and nice ensemble cast ensured that I stay hooked.

Last but not the least, Abeer is immensely adorable !
So, I am with this show after having followed nothing for last 3 years after RBO ended.
