The first episode was awesome! Be it the cast, the authentic Marathi feel, background scores, set everything was top-notch.
We've got a good historical show on tv after a really long time & I hope this sustains.
Distortion of actual facts for accomodating lovestory is the last thing I want here.
I had read the producers saying that this is a biopic out & out & lovestory is just a part of the larger picture.
So hope that they stand by their words *fingers crossed*
Because I'm SO not interested in his lovestory with Mastani.
However I'm looking forward to Kashibai. She's one of my favs.
Lastly, more such shows on our unsung & forgotten heroes should be made. We've had enough of shows/films on the mughal rulers. They've been glorified enough. Its time not only children but everybody should know about warriors like Bajirao.

d next had VO (voice over) how shivaji was capable of giving a tough compe to d mughals but dn unfortunately wid his death in 1680 everything had gone vain, der was a Damocles sword hovering over maratha empire whether shivaji's pledge would be successful or not...😕

aftr 55 yrs we have balaji vishwanath batt d father of bajirao praying in d same shva temple and again he too wishes fr sumone who could defeat d mughals again😳and d priest comes der professing abt his soon to born child who would complete his wish👏

d scene shifts on to d village where we have 1st glimpse of radhabai who sings bhajan and prays d voice was really melodious mus say😛she writes letter to her mom abt der wellness and hoping for der bright future...😳and also abt her hubby's job of being a treasurer at one landlord's place...😃

meanwhile her hubby enters and brings d raw mango as she is pregnant and dey share a hubby wifey moments...😉she is tensed and worried fr d future bt he assures her abt der child would chnge everything...⭐️

its night time probably after few months or so since her baby bump is shown...😃a few moments of der nok jhoks and dn der is d worst dey could ever think der worst of nightmares cuming true...d mughal forces attack der village and burn everyone's houses...😡finally dese both r compelled to leave d village truly poignant moment...dey leave where on d way he assures radha his wife dat not to regret dat dey dint defend since dey had to protect d future of maratha empire and dey should keep der dreams alive...😳⭐️d actors playing parents of bajirao are amazing...dey nailed d scene...😳

but 2 der horror dey finally come face to face wid d mughals...but dis scene is worth watching plz do catch up again if possible coz we got a small showcase of courage and fight from d couple against d forces...👏 d mughals check wid d luggage bt nothing is found finally one of d chief asks fr d ornaments she had worn but vishwanath doesnt allow them to touch her but instead takes from her and hands over to dm...👏wen dey demand fr d mangalsutra he denies and so one of d soldier approaches towrds her and vishwa closes his eyes but dn radhabai proves her courage and bravery and injured d person wid her hair ornament👏👏finally her hubby fights and kills all of dm...👏dis entire scene is d best aftr shviaji's 1st scene...dey dint fear fe der lives but stood and defended dmselves...👏d dialogs too were perfect...whoever has wrttn dm is amazing...👏👏

so we have another entry of one of d greatest lady warrior in maratha history she is none other dn tarabai...d wife of chatrapati rajaram...😳she is shown reaching Sinhgad fort and her hubby rajaram is ill on death bed to b precise😕she asks fr privacy and both have a moment where rajaram regrets dat he couldnt save shahu from the clutches of Aurangzeb...but dn takes promise from her dat aftr his death shahu would sit on d throne...😃she agrees and he dies...where she comes out along wid her v young son and declares d death of rajaram...by breaking d bangles...but brave lady she is...she doesnt sit and cry but boosts d confidence in d minister's mind to think abt d future and declares her own son as d future king which is against d promise given to her hubby...😲

meanwhile bajirao's parents reach a place near Nashik its d mother's place of Radhabai...😳der dey talk about wat would be d future of maratha empire b like...😕

d scene shifts back to Singhad fort where rajaram funeral is going on...her young son cries but being a brave hearted mom she tells him not to cry as he would be d future king...👏and one of d trusted minister dhanaji raises his doubt dat how would it b possible to place her son on d throne since shahu's supporters wont allow...😕but she explains him quiet practical thinking and doesnt get emotional...⭐️coz at dis poignant moment if she looses hope dn d maratha empire would tumble down like pack of cards😕she tells him that shahu and his mom is under d captivity of Aurangzeb and der is no guarantee whether he is d real shahu or d fake one...😕der is none who could dare enter his camp and bring dm...😕

on d other side we have Aurangzeb shown a small glimpse again...😃😆again its bk to tarabai where d dhanaji jadhav suggests her dat der is 1 person who could enter rather dare to enter in d mughal camp and dat was none other dn bajirao's father Balaji Vishwanath Batt...😳he explains her dat he needs no encouragement a lil bit of chance and dn he would do all d magic...😳

on d other side its bajirao's parents spending sum moments togther...😳

Precap: intersting 1😉bajirao is born we have d actor rudra entering d show...and his father going to mughal's camp but i feel he will loose his lfie...😕

d 1st epi acc to me was intersting enuf...d actors d bgms d presentations were too good...spl d dialogs were apt...😳👏
