Yash: Dignified or Dope?!

I've been around this forum for a while, and I've noticed that our Angry Young Man just doesn't get enough lovin' feelin' from fellow forum members. I see a lot of hate hurled his way for not standing up for Gurpreet, and practically having no backbone for bowing down to his mother's wishes. However, I don't think he's the dope we all make him out to be.

I think Yash was probably the most sensible and logical, not to mention mature, out of all the boys. He never committed to psuedo or empty promises. A lot of people think that he inflicted a lot of pain upon Gurpreet, but I think he saved her from pain in the future?! There was too much said and done for the damages to be reversable, and besides, why would he want to put a girl in a situation where she's not liked by his family members? Yash made a very humanizing comment when he told Gurpreet, 'Why walk on a path that doesn't exist?'...*Sheds an e-tear*

Plus, he had it right the whole time. I mean, isn't it best that he ended things sooner, than to find out about Gurpreet's rotten nature much later?! We rarely heard him speak in the past two months, but his presence was always felt. His one word answers were always layered with meaning and contained so much power within them.

I think he's the only one who got the big picture. What a dignified exist. *Breaks down into tears*

WHY???????????????????????????? 😭 My sole reason of watching Perfect Bride is GONEEEEEEEEEE.

*Turns into a pile of mush*

i agree with you here 100%. it always used to annoy me how everyone...from the moms to the judges....to gurpreet herself.........tried to force gurpreet down his throat.
they werent married, they weren't in a long-term relationship...so why all that unnecessary drama. and i think that is one of the reasons that made yash and his mom back off even more.
yash is a true example of a man with beauty and brains. for someone who is so young he definitely shows a tonne of maturity...which is more than i can say for some of the other kuwars.
dil aur dimaag ka bohuth achcha combination tha uske paas. he knew very well how to balance both of them.
he definitely deserves someone much better than gurpreet and hope he finds his true love soon.

I agree..he was a man of few words. After the spat with Gurpreet regarding his mom, he never led her on. Or gave her any ray of hope that it may work out between them. I just now commented on another post that he left with his head high up. Both the mom and son did not indulge in false flattery and he snapped it at the right time with Gurpreet. She missed out on a great guy!

Perfangel might have Yash's contact😳

I just admire the way he handled Gurpreets on stage rant against his mother. He came across has level headed and well spoken. Btw, in the beginning they used to keep showing confrontations between Yash and Hitesh. But then abruptly it all stopped. Any idea how that sort of fizzled out?

I loveeee him... I think he was perfect !! And I absolutely loved the way he handled Gur situation.
Gur has been extremely rude not just to his mom on stage but to lot of people including Yash but he never said anything or spoke about it to anyone either...
I dont understand why everyone were treating Yahs-Gur relationship as if they were together for ever or something...
I will miss him a lot even tho they werent showing much of him lately.

I absolutely concur. I wish they'd make a show on The Perfect Groom. Yash would deserve to win, hands down. I mean, he's practically perfect (save for his God awful attire).

I always sided with Yash and his mother, during the Gurpreet fiasco. She doesn't like Gurpreet, she doesn't like her. End of story. Why force Gurpreet down her throat? The entire fiasco only added fuel to the fire, and damaged the situation beyond the point of redemption.

Oh Yash. 😭

I agree. Yash and his mom, along with Vivek and his mother, were probably the only real and non-manufactured people on the show. I really wish the channel had brought back Pooja or Nandita to give Yash a second chance. When it was so blantantly clear that things had ended between Gurpreet and Yash, why bring her back and impose her upon Yash? They just wasted Gurpreet and Yash's time.

I never understood that part...... Gur can have all the good qualities in the world ( which is obvioudly not true)...she can be as percect as a person can be and Yash's mom still has right not to like her...
