The flower was actually from Silkina, if you notice right after the end of the task she had a small rose in her hair. And thats the same flower that was given to Yash.

even i was thinking the same that the rose might not be given to him by gurpreet.thats y i wrote in my last post that i think silkina gave him this red rose.

Albeit difficult, I think people can make marriage work despite hailing from different religious backgrounds. As you eloquently stated, there is a stark difference between "personal preference" and "egoism." I applaud and respect you for being candid on this sensitive matter!
