I was wondering the same..i think it was his dad as well. Considering how surprised Gulabo looked..it has to be him.

it is his dad, but it's all a joke. He's actually cutting onions in the video, which they show towards the end to reveal the joke!

If he is Hitmom's hubby, there could be TWO reasons for those tears. either khushi ke aansoo hain because the Hitmom is away for several weeks now, or gham ke aansoo hain because Hitmom will be on his head in just 4 weeks time.
