Asha Negi is one of the rising stars of Indian Television. This good looking gal first gained prominence doing Zee TV super hit show Pavitra Rishta. Then she won Nach Baliye 6 along with her beau Rithvik Dhanjani. She also was one of the participants in Khatron Ke Khiladi last year. As of now she is busy with Colors upcoming cricket entertainment reality show Box Cricket League.

Gr8 had a quick interview with Asha. She prefers to reply by Whatsapp voice notes rather than a phone chat. No wonder the interview is short and sweet but is fun too.

GR8: How is BCL doing? Are you a sporty girl?

Asha Negi (AN): Great, but I am not really interested in cricket. Though yes I am a sporty girl, but interested in only very specific sport activities. When producer Ekta Kapoor asks you to do something, no one says no. Also BCL means lots of free promotional activities which might help get better work in the future. Out of sight is out of mind you see.

GR8: Your last Star Plus fiction outing Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan where you replaced someone shut down very quickly despite your entry. What are you looking at next?

AN: Yes unfortunately so, but now I am looking for something fresh and new. No replacements or something in the middle, just a nice new show!

GR8: How has your acting journey been so far?

AN: Great! The fact that I came intotally raw with Sapnon Se Bhare Naina, to where I have reached now is just amazing.

GR8: Any kind of genre you would like to experiment with in fiction & non-fiction?

AN: I have already experimented fiction, dance, stunts and anchoringand honestly I loved the latter the most and would love to do it again. I am alsoopento playinga negative character, as that too would be a totally different experience!

GR8: And what about your Hobbies?

AN: I love traveling, shopping and good food! Hanging out with friends and family is my priority. Besides that, catching up on good films are also on the top of my favorite list.

AN: I Love wearing men's t-shirts. (We wonder whether that will help Rithvik and you save your shopping bills)...Lol

GR8: How is it going with Rithvik? Any wedding plans?

AN: We are quite happy as we are. No marriage plans for next two years, because we feel the relationship still needs to grow up a little more before taking the plunge.
